2. Which would explain the comparative nastiness of this primary...
We are, for all practical purposes, deciding the General Election when we select our nominee. McCain is going to do worse than Bob Dole, but better than Barry Goldwater. Either way, whoever wins the Democratic nomination is going to be the next President.

Im not so confident about that if Hillary is the nominee. Definately not a landslide anyway.
