Anyway, when you get yourself into an intractable and potentially embarrassing situation, sometimes the best way to deal with it is to seek constant re-inforcement from like-minded folks and to ignore anything that does not conform with your newly adopted political view by using iggy lists and encouraging folks to "let it sink"...

Yep, I should have let it sink. And for those of you who did not see the original thread, "let it sink" does not refer to Obama's campaign. It is a suggestion to let the flame bait threads sink. There's been plenty of that on both sides, but there are a few posters who are determined to outdo all their previous nastiness. It's an exercise in "How low can you go?"
