The Democratic Party in Florida blows
I just read where Tom Feeney(Lott) AND John Mica(Gingrich) both are running UNOPPOSED for Congress, and in 11 other districts where Dems are running against Repukes, the race wont be close.

In addition, I cant say that any of our candidates for US Senate (Graham's seat) are very impressive. Our only hope is the somewhat RINO Mel Martinez beats out the other hard right wingers.

I betcha Jeb's got him some designs on the WH. He might be lulled into a superiority complex with the weakness of the Democratic party in this state.

People will turn out for the Presidential vote to be sure, but after that they might as well pick their nose.

Crap.

1. As a member of the gerrymandering team,
Feeney and others made themselves safe seats to run for Congress because they were term limited in the State Legislature. The only way to correct that (unless you are in Texas) is to win the State Legislature back before the next census.
We the Florida Democrats need be focused at this level. Repubs took Florida this way. They took my old homestate of Missouri this way. The last bastion of sanity left in Florida right now is the State Supreme Court and Senator Nelson.

2. Is it illegal to form Reform Democratic Clubs
And run your own damn candidates?

Are you just waking up to notice there's nothing on the Democratic line?

Sorry. For nearly four years the people of Florida have known the situation and YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING?

Florida isn't in play. It's red. Why bother to vote? You gave it up.

4. hey fishnfla, don't give up!
while it looks bad becuase of 2002 and the continuous barage of Repug crap saying that they have the state, just keep positive and get out there and vote. AT least they can't say that EVERYBODY likes us.....because you don't :)

Vote against them, more people than you think will vote for Kerry. Presidential Elections are different than midterms in turnout. And if the same turnout stays the same as it did, which it won't (it will increase for sure, which favors dems), then Democrats have this state in the bag.

Florida will turn blue in Nov.

5. It does here in VA, too. You can't even get the headquarters
to return a phone call.
