Obama doesn't talk to Americans like they are morons....
He doesn't insult our intelligence like most politicians try to do.

That's really all I wanted to say at this time.

4. This is why we'll need a week before we know if his speech worked or not.
Too many Americans were still set in that mode of being talked to like they are complete morons, so it'll take time to shake that mindset. :D

And as you can tell by the reactions of most pundits, they prefer speaking like and being spoken to like morons. Which says a lot about the people who listen to what they say and report back here.

13. I think it's because he's not lying.
Lately McCain has started to sound like Spencer Tracy which worries me. He knows he can say whatever the hell he wants now and not worry about getting called on it since Hillary is doing all his dirty work for him and keeping the heat on Obama.

16. he seems genuine enough
I think he does have a bit of the politician bullshitter in him from time to time, the one that will take something and put it in the best light as possible, but everybody is like that. There are some few things here and there I don't agree with him on, like say the health care mandate thing, and I wish he fought harder against the war the last several years, but, overall, he is an impressive candidate. I liked both Obama and Hillary about the same until recently, I have been turned off by her recent comments and actions, and those of her campaign. Policy wise, I like them about the same, but as a leader, he rises to the occasion while she seems to drag people in the mud. Her campaign tactics have done her no favors.
