2. Kucinich
Kucinich isn't going to cost Kerry the election. Nader just might.

3. It's this simple
Nader could cost us the election. Kucinich will not. Therefore Nader is unfortunately more relevant.

4. Not enough information
Nader is more relevant to strategy as a spoiler, Kucinich is more relevant to issues and the party at large.

5. I guess I don't understand the question
"Irrelevant" as in, they cannot change policy or proposals or the Democratic party as a whole?

Or "Irrelevant" as in, they are not a danger to this year's election?

I'm sure it's a good question, I'm just not sure which question it is! :)

15. Ralph Nader doesn't deserve to hold Dennis' coat.
Kucinich is a died in the wool idealist, dedicated public servant, and an excellent member of congress. Ralph Nader is a megalomaniacal, cynical, opportunistic, lying, union busting, wal-mart investing egomaniac.

I picked Kucinich because Nader is more relevant in the sense that he is more detrimental.

23. At least Kucinich won't get Bush (re)elected.
Glad to read today that Nader has about 1 more week to submit 64,000 signatures to qualify for the ballot in Texas... and he's not close.

If this is a sign of things to come, this is a good thing.

25. Your poll only makes both of the more relevant
Kucinich running not to topple Kerry, but to help him.

If Kucinich and/or Nader are so "irrelevant", then why do you even bother with putting up this pathetic excuse for a poll?

The mere fact that you're commenting on them makes them even more relevant. Burying your head in the sand won't make either of them go away, either.

By just being "against Bush", Kerry by default gets 45% of the vote. However, if he wants to gaurantee victory in November, he'll need at least another 5%.

Running down Nader and Kucinich will not help Kerry get that 5%-- which Kerry himself knows well and good. It's unfortunate that some of his supposed supporters don't recognize this fact yet.

Why not? I like posting 'pathetic excuses for polls'

Burying your head in the sand won't make either of them go away, either.

Why would I want them to 'go away'??

Because DK is a member of the party, and as a result can use it to enact meaningful change instead of railing on about how both parties are the same.

Kucinich, unlike Nader, has been repeatedly elected to public office, and is in Congress, sitting on Congressonal comittees, while Nader is just a big mouth and has managed to alientate alot of former sympathizers.
