19. Bleumenauer was on local talk radio this morning and said they

handed out 14,000 yesterday morning in just a couple of hours and that the Obama campaign may be thinking of adding an additional rally. Also said that the campaign office opened up for the first time yesterday and there were over 600 volunteers ready to go.

by yesterday morning, they were already unavailable. There was a call for 200 volunteers, that list was all filled by yesterday morning also.

Bummer for me, I tried both and lost out.

So I don't feel TOOOOO bad about not being able to attend or help out tomorrow. Plus, I had the opportunity to see Obama in the fall of 2006 at a book-signing event. There were a couple of thousand people there (in Phoenix) at that time, nothing like the 17,000 that will be there tomorrw, but I was lucky enough to get signed book and my picture taken with him.
