will she fight to the end of the party?
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 08:31 PM by swampg8r
let me start by saying im no hillary fan
im not a clinton fan actually
i feel he cost our party too much expended political capital
when discretion and foresight are free

im solidly behind obama
he will get my vote and my money
im a 52 year old florida dixiecrat
im one of those obama ballots from our travesty of a primary

and now
when the party is functioning again like the party of old
electing its members and making the changes we hope lead to a better future
making the arguments that actually change minds

here they come again
with the politics of yesterday

there is no profit for our party in a fight to the end
hillary has cost herself the support of top party members
over her back handed endorsment of mc cain
and this act alone should disqualify her

when we add in the fact that the records stay hidden and the taxes stay closeted
the fact she is behind in any yardstick used to measure success in the race
and that all she can do now until the convention
is damage her own parties nominee

mrs clinton i ask you
for all our good
accept the fact that destiny is not yours

withdraw now and use what dwindling support you have
whatever is left of your political resources
what hasnt been squandered of the respect of the party
towards you and your husband
to elect a democrat president

i know hillary
you have made it through a lot of tough times because of the path you chose

4. Sure Looks That Way
Anybody married to Bill Clinton has staying power and nerves of steel, but you can't henpeck a nation. Ask Jimmy Carter.

5. Don't listen to them, Hillary! Fight until the last dog dies!
I don't expect my football team to give up just because it trails by 10 with less than a minute left.
And I don't expect the person I want to be president to quit so easily either.

Obama will have to defeat Hillary fair and square. She's a fighter. That's the main reason I support her. I'd much rather support someone who goes down fighting than someone who wimps out.
