Unless Edwards can give Hillary a whole bunch of delegates
His endorsement will mean just about as much as mine.

The only thing it will do is prove him as a hypocrite and end his political career.

1. His political career has been over 4 years
he just didn't get the memo.... although I do hope Obama will give him a cabinet post.

3. He had a lot of political capital 45 days ago.
he should have spent it.

2. He waited waaaaay too long...
...to make his endorsement (if he does give it) meaningful. Too bad - he could have made a meaningful contribution when he got out of the race.

4. Agreed, although I would certainly welcome Edwards endorsement of Obama.

5. My take...
If he comes out in support of the delegate leader - I have no issue. If he comes out in support of the delegate loser - then yes, I agree with you. Because at this point, with the math the way it is - it's almost vindictive in nature.

10. He was probably waiting for the NC primary...to be more noticeable
but in any event, his endorsement is not that important..

To most people, he's just that cute guy..with the nice hair..the one who lost twice in his bid for the presidency.

6. None of you Obamabots
knows or understands Edwards at all. Quite understandable since Edwards is as PROGRESSIVE and as exemplary of the LEFT-WING of the Democratic Party as you can get.

Of course, TRUE core Democratic beliefs escape you. Of course you wouldn't understand them if you are an Obama follower, as you all believe rubbing noses with Republicans is just fine. Why lets get downright "bi-partisan" and put the scum in the White House.

Well, I know Edwards could never reconcile with anyone who would put Republicans in any White House, so Hillary would get the nod any time over Obama.

The funniest part is how sure you all were he would ever back Obama. You praised him then...attorney general you all clamored, don't you remember?

I do.

All I can say if Edwards DOESN'T back Obama is ......WELL DONE , SIR, WELL DONE!!!

9. I think it just shows what a major phony he is. Edwards talks like a progressive but
he doesn't walk like one.

11. Your post is very condescending.
I was an Edwards supporter, but I've concluded that Obama is the much better choice over Clinton. Hillary is the DLC, pro-IWR candidate -- not a logical choice for a "progressive" endorsement.

13. He's an IWR co-sponsor with $27 million invested in a hedge fund with a Cayman Islands address
In other words, spare us fans of a true lifetime progressive the stupid-assed lecture.

12. About half of his delgates were in Iowa and half of those swung to Obama yesterday
He has four from NH and the rest (16 I think) are in SC. Not much there there.

14. Edwards waited way to long. He should of put forward an ........
endorsement over a month ago.

Coming out this late in the game does nothing.
