Super Delegates Tilting Towards Obama As Race Prolongs
The NY Times

While many superdelegates said they intended to keep their options open as the race continued to play out over the next three months, the interviews suggested that the playing field was tilting slightly toward Mr. Obama in one potentially vital respect. Many of them said that in deciding whom to support, they would adopt what Mr. Obama’s campaign has advocated as the essential principle: reflecting the will of the voters.

1. They Really Need To Drop The Curtain On The Clintons' Destruction Mode
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 09:03 AM by MannyGoldstein
When the Clinton's get mad, they destroy people - it's as natural to them as a hyena taking down a zebra.

Now they're looking to destroy a person who happens to be the Democrat's presumptive nominee for president. Attempting to destroy our nominee should not be tolerated, nor should loving praise of the Republican candidate be tolerated.

7. It's all in their hands even if we go 'till June
So I don't know why they can't or don't just put an end to this right now.

3. Florida and Michigan have compromised, and to count they would need a revote......
Hillary violated the pledge by leaving her name on the ballot in Michigan. No Democrat should have had their name on the ballot, but Hillary felt the pledge didn't apply to her.

Put that aside for the moment, and Obama still leads the popular vote if you include Michigan and Florida.

4. "What Mr. Obama's campaign advocated as the essential principle"?
WTF?

News flash: The nomination reflecting the will of the people is not some idea that Obama came up with in the middle of the night. It is the ostensible reason for the entire freaking process. Until Clinton started her shenanigans, 99% of us didn't even know that this whole goofy concept of superdelegates even existed. Most of us simply assumed that the purpose of voting in the primaries was for the VOTERS to select the nominee. Novel concept.

6. Very important that the SDs keep that attitude
because you know the Clintons, underhanded tactics and all, will be working to change it.
