Randi Rhodes suggested Hillary had a number of scandals that had not broken yet
that would give her real problems in November. Did she hint at all what these were or is she just blowing smoke because she is mad at Hillary for all her attacks on Obama?

1. I HATE all the mudslinging by supporters of BOTH of
our candidates.

If people must sling mud, they should sling it at Republicans.

Making Obama look bad or making Hillary look bad hurts ALL Dems.

2. I didn't listen
but I'm sure there is a reason they are not releasing their tax returns or donor lists. And since we've seen what kind of trivial and guilt by association stuff constitutes a scandal - I think it is a given there is *something* there.

6. John Aravosis said the same thing. From an entry on 3-3-08:
<snip>

So, what will the Republicans throw at Hillary in the fall?

Lots. But I'm not going to detail those things today because I'm, surprisingly, still pulling punches with regards to what I write about Hillary. I don't want to damage Hillary should she become our nominee, as increasingly unlikely as that appears. I don't want to write about very real scandals in Hillary's past, scandals that we will be forced to revisit for the next 8 months, and 8 years. I don't want to write about the rumors about Bill that no one has written about to date, even though the rumors include lots of details which are at least just as true as Obama being a Muslim. While Hillary's campaign is pushing known lies about Obama, such as the "Muslim" connection, most of the stories about Hillary are anything but lies. They're real stories that she will have to discuss publicly, again and again and again, to her and our party's detriment.

But I'm not going to be discussing the details of those stories today because I don't want to make our candidate damaged goods in the fall. You will notice that neither Obama's campaign nor Obama's official, or unofficial, surrogates are talking about the Clintons' past or present scandals, the Clintons' negatives, what a Clinton run for the presidency will to Democratic congressional races and governor races across the country. The Clintons are counting on the fact that none of us will write about their negatives, because we're too nice. So they can get as dirty as they want, with impunity.

Well, come Wednesday, if Hillary doesn't win 65% of the delegates in Ohio and Texas, and still insists on staying in the race and ripping our party in two, it will be time to start treating candidate Clinton with the same golden rule she is using for candidate Obama. Why? Not for revenge, but for the sake of our party and the fall election. Hillary and her campaign are in the process of turning Obama into damaged goods in the fall. They didn't have to go there, but beating Obama became more important to them than beating John McCain. So, the first question for Hillary come Wednesday, should she decide to continue risking our chances of winning in the fall even though the math says it's over, will be the question she's asking Obama today: What negatives will the Republicans throw against you in the fall? And as I've noted repeatedly, there are some negatives out there that most of you don't even know about - but everyone in Washington knows about them, in detail. That's because even Democrats who don't love Hillary, don't go there, for the good of the party. On Wednesday, the good of the party may dictate that we do.

I haven't seen or heard specifics from John or Randi.

9. I've heard her say it too...
She and Thom Hartmann are both on the Republican's mailing lists, so they're both sitting on information, but so far they've only teased about what the Repubs are holding on Hillary. I wish she'd give a clue, because she makes it sound like it's potentially explosive.

Pentagon.

Keep that in mind when listening to her show...

20. Hillary lives according to this quote:
"Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, as long as ever your can." John Wesley, founder of her church.

that watches C-SPAN and that Keith Oberman won't have her on his show because he would rather just listen to her and steal all her material, so he can use it on his show. Please.

24. Actually, a lot of things Randi has said that are later said by Keith or some other
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 01:06 AM by Quixote1818
outlet, are often said here on DU first. Actually, I made a post about Puerto Rico impacting the race long before she said it on her show. I have seen other posts on DU get repeated by people like Randi after the fact. I don't know if she gets them from here or just comes to the same idea somehow, but she should give the same benefit of the doubt that I give her to Keith.

25. Yah. Randi is all about... Randi and Randi's ratings...
And because Obama is popular on the left, she's all about Obama.

But don't forget: she once said during the last campaign that during the primaries we all fall in love. during the GE we all fall in line.

If Hillary wins, she will use that line and shift focus faster than you can say "under the bus".

26. she's also said that it's going to be difficult to advocate for someone
that she finds she has growing contempt for, much like many of us who can't warm up to Hillary, and deplore her campaign tactics. A lot of us won't forget her tacit endorsement of McCain.
