This Wright shit has worked my last nerve. Last night as I was listening to my iPod I stumbled across an oldie but a goodie that really speaks to the current MANUFACTURED "controversy" regarding Rev. Wright.

Folks who know and love the song you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Those of you unfamiliar with it check out the lyrics and listen to it via the link I provided.

This speaks to the anger I feel today, it speaks to the anger I had in the late 80's when the song came out and I was a college student who was realizing for the 1st time this world was not fair. Obama did the right thing by distancing himself, but its only right because it limits the political damage. I see folks talking about Wright's "hate speech" but there is no there, there.

Its as if those who want to exploit this MANUFACTURED scandal, regardless if its the right, MSM or Clinton supporters, are saying "Ni$$er we ain't about to let your Black ass ever be president and we will do ANYTHING, including divide this country to deny you!"

Obama is not an ANGRY BLACK MAN (But today I am!), but every fucking effort is being made to paint him as one by focusing on Wright. Think about this shit Obama has no connection to Farrakhan YET he is forced to denounce him. He is being forced to denounce his minister, he is being forced to separate himself from his church.

Wright speaks a truth to power that is INCENDIARY but not racist or anti-American. Obama is doing the right thing, because he has his eyes on the prize, but for Wright to the be made into an issue when Republicans have fucking embraced the likes of Hagee, Parsley, Robertson, Dobson, Falwell and Bob Jones is just FUCKING SAD. How do you explain that? Well there is only one way to. Its funny, in many ways the behavior of the right, the MSM and some Clinton supporters prove Wright's points.
