"To soothe the savage beast" a poem for GD:P
Rant and rage and wreck my head Reading religiously and rating the race Shit, I should be in bed. Pondering such people is pitiable; Ponderous pontificating purposely pathetic No wonder I'm so irritable What winds will wail Wanton whores writhing on the web So their candidate will prevail Heart hurting and acting histrionic Hopefully hale and hearty; helping my herd Accomplishing nothing; how ironic. Sulking now and I'm seeking Searching to soothe the savage serpent in my synapses It's like my mind is leaking Muse of music merry move me marinate my mind in melody meandering or mournful Fill my steps with rhythm and glee The beast better now, bows and blows Bards both beautiful and bluesy bathed my brain Feeling better; renewed; on with the show!
