has her as a senior advisor at least. Like her or not, she is tough as nails and her and her people know exactly how to respond to issues in the most politically beneficial way possible, and know how to turn any issue around on the other side, I believe. Maybe I'm a lot like her and that's why I don't like her lol, but I believe she really doesn't take shit from anyone and knows how to fight things that Republicans attack with. She also isn't afraid to pounce on any issue that she thinks will advantage her. This can be something to be looked down on, but it could also be something to be admired.

Of course I don't believe she should be the President, so please dont accuse me of wanting her to be President now. I'm just saying, it may not be the worst thing if she gets the VP. I at least hope she is one of his senior advisors, when it comes to responding to Republican hit jobs.

5. She wouldn't be my first choice of course originally.
But I think that with the potential Republican and right wing attacks that could be leveled against him, he would need someone like Hillary to respond, and I think she knows more about right wing attacks than Obama.

4. You really don't understand how much she has PISSED OFF people do you?
We number in the thousands in my community. If you multiply our numbers across the country--we are a force!

AND OUR BOTTOM LINE IS---ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY NO H-I-L-L-A-R-Y on any ticket, in any position, at any time in the next year, PERIOD!!!!

Got it?

7. She has pissed off many, but believe me the important thing in Nov.
is making sure McCain does not become President. If Hillary can help make sure that does not happen, I think it should be considered.

14. SHE IS FINISHED THIS SEASON!
Got it? She is not going to be a democratic VP candidate. Obama will choose someone with vast military and foreign policy experience to counter McCain. Hillary offers neither!

She'll be lucky to retain her Senate seat in four years when it's up for re-election after her dismal performace in this campaign. God help you New Yorkers! That's all I have to say! (She's not my favorite and if I lived in NY I'd be hoping for a better Senator candidate than her next time around!)

She is not finished if she convinces superdelegates that this Jeremiah thing will be a huge problem.
But even if she doesn't, I think there are too many Democrats who really love Hillary for her to just go away, and what my point is, is that she is a fighter who really wants to win like nothing else. I think she will be good for Obama at least as a senior advisor during the campaign...

25. Does McLame want to lose 49 states?
Because no Republican nor Democrat would vote for that ticket. Hope you're right though, that would certainly be fun to watch, plus a Dem would win in November. :)

8. Not as VP
Edited on Sat Mar-15-08 12:04 AM by DJ13
When Hillary claimed McCain has more experience than Obama that now forces Obama to choose a VP that actually HAS real foreign policy experience that cant be questioned.

Hillary doesnt meet that standard, as even half her own party doesnt think she has any experience.

15. Senate majority leader at best.
VP, no.

She wrecked her chance at the VP slot by going so negative so early.

Obama should pick someone with foreign policy cred. Joe Biden might be a good choice.

17. I am convinced she does not have the publics best interest ahead of her own.
I'm sure many politicians are the same way. But besides that I think the VP should be a white older man who is respected on foreign policy issues and who will give the soccer moms and white working class folks the comfy cozy feeling they seem to like.

23. Well, if she's so good, why is she losing? Could it be....
that someone else is BETTER?

Could it be that "someone else" is tougher, without appearing overbearing?

Could it be that "someone else" turns things around in his favor, without it even seeming he's doing it?

Could it be that "someone else" knows how to fight against attacks by Republicans or anyone else?

It would seem so. Actually, it is obviously so. She seems tough because she lets it show too much that she is straining. You THINK she successfully fights against attacks because you can SEE her fighting. You can see the fatigue in her eyes, the strain in her voice. You can hear the incredulous, sometimes nonsensical arguments she makes for or against something. You think, "Hey, what a fighter." But really what you are seeing is someone merely standing, saying things others tell her to say, trying to be something that she is not.

That is why she is losing, I suppose.

The two of them cannot be on the same ticket, IMO. The Clintons crossed a line when they told the voters to vote for McCain, if she didn't win the nomination.

24. she is compromised and corrupt
she has traded her principles for political power.

She would detract from and dilute an Obama Administration.

Please don't fall for this. That is what they are stalling for.
They are trying to bully their way onto Obama's ticket using her supporters and donors as bargaining chips.
We must not cave in to this manipulation.

27. And what has her "toughness" gotten her?
She's losing the race. She's totally alienated a good portion of Dem voters. The Repukes still hate her. The IWR/Kyle-Lieberman -- her war "toughness" -- is a monkey on her back.

No thanks. She's damaged goods. We don't need her attitude poisoning the well any more.

28. I may not be the worst thing if she gets the VP..
...but it's totally unnecessary, so why even float the idea of her on the ticket. She totally taints Obama's message of integrety, open government, and replacing old politics of the 90s with the new style. Buh-bye, ol' girl.
