Obama to be on Olbermann now
Wright no longer on Obama's advisory committee! That's the breaking news on Olbermann's show. Obama to be on soon.

AND Rev. Wright...especially with all the perceived anti-patriotic gossip out there about him.

10. I'm well aware of that.
But as someone who has studied the history of America, loves the history of America, and knows that so often America has not stood for America. I tend to find it infuriating when historical truths are slandered as the hysterical ravings of a radical.

The collective reaction of the American media today: "OMG we killed the Indians, enslaved Africans, and are the only country on the face of the earth to use nuclear weapons against human beings. That's not acceptable speech."

14. I think he already has.
he'll also be on Fox and CNN tonight.

He'll handle himself well, he always does. that's one of the things admirable about him - it's hard to rattle him and that drives Hillary crazy ballistic.
That's the advantage he has, he's his own self and doesn't have to 'factcheck' his previous lies like she does.

I see that Lou Dobbs is oh soooooo devastated by the pastors remarks of God Damn America. Quite the method act he has going.
the same Lou that keeps telling us what morons there are in the WH and congress. Isn't That an indirect damnation of the nation as well?

Lou is an egg sucking weasel.

4. god damn it, he is!
I would be willing to join a church with a speaker with such passion as his. My early years of 'church' was RC, where we sat like dumb stumps with the finger of Gods wrath pointed at us telling everyone what awful human beings we were.

btw. can u give a bit of a play by play. I don't get MSNBC on the dial.

I'm glad he's off the advisory committee and and that Obama's on the media tour tonight to address this.

33. This is politics. I'm well aware of that. But...
What do you disagree with Wright saying? That Hillary has never felt racial persecution? That America has created the monsters abroad that it now slays?

37. the "goddamn America" part and the 9/11 part as well
Many voters still have pride in America, myself included, and I have belief in this country to reach its great potential, which is why I support Obama. It was very jarring to hear Obama's former pastor using God to damn the country that I still have hope in, and that's why I found it very offensive.

Is always a possibility. You have to realize that was very likely a small part of a long sermon.

No way. I'm sorry, I was'nt born yesterday, he is going to have to do more than just denounce especially if the rethugs find out he was present in ANY of those type of meetings. I don't this to bring Obama down, I believe he does'nt have the same idealogy, but you have to wonder why did'nt he leave or renounce his membership. Only a question, not trying to knock Obama off.

24. If that's what the preacher really believes, and Obama went to his church frequently
it's not possible that Obama at least *knew* that this is what Rev. Wright believes, and, despite that, continued to associate with him and give him an advisory position on his campaign. That's a serious problem for me.

36. I can't believe I'm agreeing with you about anything, but yeah
That's what we'd have to believe. Besides, even if Obama wasn't there personally, he would still have known about these statements through the grapevine and at the very least, would have known that Wright had a reputation for remarks like this.
