I got an idea for a brilliant campaign strategy for Obama & Hillary.
They should sign a pact with each other to go after McCain and leave each other alone. Then Dems could choose their candidate by who is most effective against McCain (which should be a good indicator of who could really best beat McCain).

That would also force McCain to have to split his attention between the two possibly diluting his message as well as start to tip his hand (again, thus strengthening our final candidate as McCain plays whack a mole).

Okay, perhaps this is a stupid idea but think about it. Could democrats possibly be smart enough and honest enough with each other to do this, something that would be best for the party?

1. Yeah but didn't you hear Hillary is a McCain supporter.
Why would she want to go after her long time friend.

2. This would become....

"My opponent absolute SUCKS at going after McCain.... how can we win in November with such ineffective and lame attacking!"

"No.... it is YOU who sucks at going after McCain. You couldn't effectively attack Hitler, let alone McCain. It is clear that my opponent is not prepared to take on McCain as effectively as I can. If we want to get down in the mud with McCain, I'm the candidate to do it."

;-)

3. Hell no!
Its way smarter if we spend all the money in our base in a huge internal fight, which gets the party divided into two hateful, warring factions, who will be disillusioned with the nominee no matter what! THAT's real political strategy!

:sarcasm:

4. If the two were more interested in doing what is right than their own, personal ambition,
this could work. It would take a truce between the two, which is not likely to happen.

But, boy, wouldn't it be nice for them to both attack McInsane?

9. With the implied promise that nothing will change except the guy in charge.
He will not hold any repuke responsible for the crimes of the past seven years.

And that is why he cannot be trusted.
