The next round of attack ads against Kerry

Five weeks, about forty million dollars just to air them, and the first two rounds of attack ads have passed- and left Kerry leading.

Since They have promised us 'ninety days' in which They 'will define' John Kerry, and we know They don't have much else in their arsenal, it's obviously time for round three.

I'm pretty sure the ads are going to have to do double duty- obfuscate their footbullets with the 9/11 commission and hit Kerry on being wrong on National Security. I'm just having trouble imagining how.

Any thoughts, guesses, vague hints from Republican operatives? If not on what's to come, do the ads so far have a real 'defining' effect on swing voters where you are?

3. When his military record was attacked in the Weld race, it was a disaster
..for Weld. :D Kerry used it to showcase his resume, which Weld couldn't hope to measure up to. I think any of the attacks on purple hearts are pretty spurious, since all of them are signed off on by his commanding officers. If they had doubts, why did they sign?

Time to go back to freeperland. Nice try with the Kerry photo, though.

Kerry has "worked" the Vietnam experience?? He's a war hero!

5. They are going to get mean...but Kerry's smart, he doesn't respond to
every little of Rove's bullshit and bait attacks...but they'll find a way to put Kerry in a narrow box (like they did Gore) and force him to respond and then they are in control...can't let it happen. Kerry has to define who he is and set the pace to his liking.
