It looks like Ryan is going to pull out a lot of negative ads.

1. only way GOP thinks they can win is attack, attack, attack
"he is to the left of Kerry on taxes"
"he is to the left of Hillary Clinton on live birth abortions."
"he is to the left of Blagovevich on 2nd amendment rights."

They can never of a true debate without it getting personal or dirty.

2. I knew he was the strongest. Looks like the IL GOP is the weakest it's
ever been. Somebody should ask Barack if he's a Cubs or Whitesox fan.

5. The GOP in Illinois is imploding.
They're in the midst of a viciouscivil war between the moderates and the neo-cons, and it's getting worse, not better.

6. Neocons aren't really the opposite wing of moderates
you can seperate repubs as moderates and right-wingers(conservatives) or you can seperate them foriegn policy wise as neocons and traditional conservatives/isolationists.

8. Let's just say that the right-wing and the moderate wing are divorcing...
It's even happening on the local level. It took two separate meetings and 29 ballots to elect a Republican county chairman here this week, because of the split between the moderate/fiscally-conservative folks and the religious-right/neocon folks. They finally compromised and elected a complete doofus with no strong convictions about anything...

9. I'd love to see that on a national scale!
Bye, bye, GOP, off to the dustbin of history where you belong.
