YAY! I heard Hillary will have LOST a net of 3 delegates from her "big win" in TX!
Of course, that means she LOST TX. It's not a primary and a caucus, it's a prima-caucus, and the totals get COMBINED to find the winner. I'm sure people remember Bill Clinton telling voters, "It's all on you..." telling them TX is the only place it's legal to vote twice, and he needs them to go caucus after they vote. Looks like they didn't do that, so his wife didn't win!:

"All Things Considered, March 6, 2008 · New York Sen. Hillary Clinton has claimed victory in the Texas primary — but her rival, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, may walk away with a greater share of the state's delegates.

That's because the Texas contests are actually both a primary and a caucus.

Clinton won the primary with 51 percent of the popular vote to Obama's 47 percent, according to the Associated Press. Those results earned her 65 delegates to Obama's 61 delegates.

But allocating delegates in the Lone Star State takes a "Texas two-step." After the polls closed, more than 1 million Texans also attended caucuses, the results of which determine how about one-third of the state's delegates get awarded.

The state Democratic Party estimates that Obama will come out ahead: 37 pledged delegated to Clinton's 30 delegates. But the official tally of the Texas caucus won't be ready for months."

(Just a little perspective for all the Hillary supporters belittling Obama's win today in WY). :hi:

1. Even Tweety said the results of TX would be "determined by the spin". Evidently, the
networks have decided the Spin is In for Clinton.

3. I heard that! Yet he's spinning it as a "restart" of the race. Of course, it's NOT.
But they want this to go as long as possible.

4. Yup. Also, here's an article saying how Hillary was trying HARD in WY!
"But Clinton threw some effort into Wyoming, perhaps hoping for an upset that would yield few delegates but considerable buzz and momentum. The New York senator campaigned Friday in Cheyenne and Casper. Former President Clinton and their daughter, Chelsea, also campaigned this week in the sprawling and lightly populated state."

Guess all her "momentum" and efforts didn't work! :D

5. There was no way the Rush Republicans could have done the caucus
They could easily vote during the day, in a a private conspiratorial way. But Im sure there was no way many of those same people could do it face to face with others with conviction. There just arent that many good liars( even republicans )

6. OR they didn't want to use that much effort on her. Either way, it proved the reason she won
was thanks to those Rush Repubs.

10. I don't believe that for a second. I think she knows EXACTLY what's really
going on and that it's a TWO-part election with ONE final result. But since SHE won the primary PART of it, she and the media claimed she won the TX election.

24. Right, but remember, she was pre-spinning the caucus segment as corrupt...
... weeks before Texas. The head of the Texas Democratic Party had to expose potential lawsuits just to get the Clinton team to stop strong-arming him. Three weeks ago, the Clinton team was openly admitting they didn't "understand" the Two-Step.

They spun the caucus section of the Two-Step as corrupt long before it happened, leading the media narrative on a leash.

her in pretty much the same position as BEFORE her "huge wins."

15. Oh, rules don't matter!
Don't you know she is above rules? Obama WON TEXAS. The delegates are divided between the primary vote and the caucus vote. The TOTAL determines the winner. Those are the RULES she ignores.

of how the "prima-caucus" works didn't hold when talking about the RESULTS of it.
