The comeback girl's comeback has just been put on hold.:)

said on Larry King last night, only Ohio counts. And PA will count if Hillary wins it. And because of OH and PA, the SDs will PICK Hillary as the nominee, because it means that she can win the GE. The states Obama won and votes he got from them, clearly don't count.

that the reason Obama does well is not because people like him, but only because they dislike Clinton.

If you'd stop and think for a minute, you'd find that's not a very compelling argument for your candidate.

33. No matter how you spin it
Clinton and Obama are very close in vote totals. To pretend that one candidate is adored and the other hated is just nonsensical.

Why can't you guys just admit that? We have two strong candidates. You can support a candidate without denigrating the opponent.

63. Probably because my candidate has been tarred
as inferior to John McCain. Our candidates are not so strong that we can afford the luxury of one choosing McCain on national security over the other. Don't you see that?

I admit the vote totals are close and I have never said Barack was adored and Hillary hated. So your comment doesn't apply to me.

any candidate would have roughly the same negatives. I don't think it's as big a problem as you say.

AS I said above, they're about tied in the national vote. To pretend one candidate is beloved by all and the other is hated just doesn't reflect reality.

Saying

"vote for her because she's going to win anyway, so don't you want to jump on board the train?"

isn't a real compelling argument, either.

WY is not equal to Ohio.

77. Sure he does. He beat the hell out of her in VT
and of course we're far more of a dem state and hold much cleaner elections than OH. Not even close. And he's ending up with more delegates out of TX than hilly. Not to mention that he closed huge gaps in both OH and TX in a 2 week period. He doesn't need to win PA. He just needs to keep it within 10 pts. And he's favored in 6 out of 10 of the remaining contests. No matter what lies and slime her campaign throws out, she's still in trouble. She slips further behind every day. He's closed the SD gap from 180 to 40 in just over a month. Look for that to close completely.

Oh, and just to help educate you: He's won as many primaries as she has. And after today, he'll have won 29 states. He'll end up winning something like 35 contests and she'll have under 20.

117. MD, VA, WI,
All elections - all 17% plus Obama victories - all reasonably populous states.

How will HRC win the states she says didn't count. If HRC wins and McCain is smart, he will sell signs or bumper stickers in all the Obama states - saying "Vote McCain, he thinks VA counts" - where state appreviation replaces VA in each state.

Telling states that they don't count is a strange way to win them over.

Fact is, Wyoming is as repug a state as you're ever going to find. We have no chance in November. Whatever small trickle of Democrats exist there are extremely far left and more of the "movement" types. These are the types that gravitate to Obama and worship him like a deity. They also have the time to stick around at caucuses.

Hillary's base is working class dems in places like Ohio, NY, Pennsylvania, Texas, NJ.

Polls conducted show that Hillary loses Ohio in the GE to McCain.

The only state you listed that she would win that Obama would not is Pa.

Obama wins Ohio, NY, and NJ.

Hillary would win NY, Pa, and NJ.

Both would lose Texas, but Obama would have a better chance at winning it than Hillary would.

She was 15-20 points ahead in OH just a few weeks before the vote. About the same in TX and RI. He closed to 10 in OH, and damn near beat her in the TX primary, and DID beat her in the caucus to go ahead in delegates there. So just spin away as she always does. By the way, she was happy as hell to win the Nevada and New Mexico CAUCUSES and wasn't crapping on those ones (although she barely won them). But when she loses, she craps on caucuses and spins away like a spider.

I am happy that so far it looks like 8-4 Obama on delegates and hope that will hold. So just exactly why, if anyone knows, does Obama rack up huge majorities in all white states like Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, etc.?

Demographically, it seems to be upside down, like Alice in Wonderland.

Does it mean that race is NOT a factor when Obama is a candidate or something else?

37. wow!!
and with about 50% of the vote counted there's only been a total of around 3000 people who attended. That's a massive turnout...Wyoming must be the Democrats most populated states, it must be wall to wall Democrats there. I guess Clinton's going to have to drop out. She might won California, New York, New Jersey, Ohio...but wow he's really winning Dick Chaney country isn't he? And again...what a turnout!!

wait is there a group that does? no no one hates democracy...though there have been a billion "SAVE OBAMA - STOP THE PRIMARY" Threads. Wait is that the change the Obama people are looking for? Do the Obama people plan on trying to vote Obama in for life so we get real change. And they will set up their kingdom in Wyoming where everybody knows it's wall to wall democrats. Sorry Hillary it's all over...Obama's winning the Wyoming Caucus.

As predicted, nothing new here. He does well in caucuses and he'll also do very well in MS thanks to the African American vote.

I don't think anyone in the Clinton camp expects to win either state. I didn't even remember that the WY caucus was today until I turned on CNN.

49. He does well in primary states too!
He's won as many as Hill has. And I love the way that hill supporters try and disparage the AA vote. BTW, he won in VT last Tuesday. It was a primary. Less than 1% of the population is AA. We're an older state and have slightly more women here than the norm. We're definitely not a red state. And he beat her by something like 25 pts.

Even if Obama blows Clinton out of the water in Wyoming, his delegate haul will be minimal.

To come out with a six-delegate advantage, he’s going to have to win with a margin of 41 percent
