OK: I have been anti-HRC, now it’s time to shift gears and tell you ‘why’ I like Obama.

Could I be classified as an Obama supporter. Probably not, no fire in the belly as of yet and I really didn’t know who he was up until about a month ago. With that being said though, I can make some very positive observations about him.

1) He is a fairly clean politician. Perfect? No. But he passes the smell test as politicians go.

2) He talks about transformation of the political process (God knows we need transformation).

3) He hasn’t been in DC long enough to get stuck in the old tire ruts that other politicians have been before him.

4) He brings a fresh perspective into How to get things done. When everybody sees that it is in their best interest to move in a certain direction, there can be Win-Win results.

5) Despite his outer exterior, deep down I know he is a liberal. I will take Dick Durbins word for it. Yes I will. In a New York Second.

6) He does have a way about him that is intangible. I could see myself in total disagreement with him and yet not be mad at him. In other words, when he disagrees with you, it does not feel like it is personal. He does not mess with you at the ego level.

Will I support him? Yes I will. He may grow on me or he may not, but I am willing to toss the dice, after all, that’s what life is all about, isn’t it? In order to make some progress in life, we have to get beyond our doubt and fear and toss those dice.

3. Obama is not a loose cannon

like some of the others we see. We don't hear him making wild attacks. We don't hear him saying things like "100 years more in Iraq".

He is far more level headed than either of the 2 running for President of the United States. We don't need another idiot in there making money for themselves only and creating more wars without end!

She was on Larry King about two weeks ago - and she was awesome.

Comes from a middle middle income family. Understands what is going down for the middle income class these days.

Currently Hillary is labelled as being "middle class" but her dad was an executive and they lived in the Pill Hill kind of surroundings of the professional class.

9. You are probably right. Tell you what my problem is though. I no longer watch the msm.

I do not like their spin, obfuscation, miss-direction, and flat out bull.

I watched CNN the other night when they kept insisting that HRC had a great victory in Texas. I have high blood presure and I try to avoid the msm insult to my intelligence. I therefore miss a lot of great stuff and get most of my news from here.

I do see Obama as the best thing we have out there though, by a long shot. That is for sure.

10. I watch it only so I can see what the current lie is being told to the populace

Caught sight of Michelle's face when clicking through the channels for a murder mystery.

Saw she had a spot of time with Larry King and thought I 'd see what she has to say.

Like you, I keep my watching to a minimum - not as low as yours maybe but rather low.

No longer buy the M$M newspapers - and I listen to radio shows that are free from politics. Life is just too short.
