Holy Cow! Did anyone see HRC's presser about Monstergate
Edited on Fri Mar-07-08 05:34 PM by Truth Hurts A Lot
She twisted it and said that Obama did the right thing. Then she tried to turn it into an international conspiracy of off the record comments by Obama's campaign to foreign governments. Give it up!

Transcript:

Q. Advisor stepped down for calling you a monster. React?

HRC: Well I think sen. Obama did the right thing, but I think it’s important to look at what she and his other advisors say behind closed doors, particularly when they’re talking to foreign governments and foreign press. It raises disturbing questions about what the real planning and policy positions inside the Obama campaign happen to be.

Q. How is being called a monster any different than Obama camp being called ken starr?

HRC: You know, I am, you know, very focused on this campaign and you’ve made the comparison between those two…

Q. You’re spokesman made that comparison.

HRC: I think one is an ad hominem attack and one is a historical reference.

Q. But he said that he did not see how anybody imitating Ken Starr would win the Democratic nomination.

HRC: Well, I think that is a true statement.

Q. When Bob Johnson raised the issue of Sen. Obama’s drug use, you didn’t act quickly on that.

HRC: Well, we did repudiate it and he apologized.

Q. There was no repudiation immediately. Immediately, your campaign said he was talking about community organizing. Then he came out and said he was actually referring to his drug use and no one heard anything else from your campaign.

HRC: Well no, yes you did. You said he apologized and we accepted his apology.

5. Samatha Power is no clown.
She is a tireless fighter for human rights. She has risked her life to report the atrocities that occur in this world.

3. MSM BRAIN DEAD on HRC campaign role in NAFTA-gate
When are they going to REPORT this NEWS:

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20080305.wharpleak0305/BNStory/National/home

Since 75 per cent of Canadian exports go to the U.S., Mr. Obama and Ms. Clinton's musings about reopening the North American free-trade pact had caused some concern.

Mr. Brodie downplayed those concerns.

"Quite a few people heard it," said one source in the room.

"He said someone from (Hillary) Clinton's campaign is telling the embassy to take it with a grain of salt. . . That someone called us and told us not to worry."

Government officials did not deny the conversation took place.

4. That opens the doors for her campaign
Let's face it, with Penn, Wolfson, and Ickes, you know a lot of sumbassed stuff has been said "off the record."

Hell, a lot of dumb stuff has been said "on the record."

It's the strategy of sacrificing the long-term for the short term yet again.

7. Did you hear that interview where they played one of her Latino
organizers saying that Hispanics could never vote for a Black? She didn't exactly "denounce or reject" that!
She's so full of shit.

9. Yes, I saw that song and dance and it was disgusting
Especially in light of her forcing Obama to denounce AND reject an unwanted endorsement the night before!

Good for whoever it was. Pressed her hard on it and got her to tap-dance.

20. I was wondering who that is, too, and how a reporter could be so dumb
to compare a supporter to a top level advisor.

I guess that's all they have.

Like Johnson referencing Obama's drug use is something Johnson should apologize to Clinton about!

19. I'm glad the "monster" meme is out there. It will give a lot of people to
an earworm that will keep coming back every time hillary makes one of her vile and odious pronouncements. Eventually, it will catch up to her.

It will stick...She will do anything to win...she's a monster. I'm frankly surpirsed they wanted to bring this out front.
