Stop Paying Attention to the Delegate Math - It's Meaningless
I think Craig Crawford offers a good analysis of why the delegate counting right now is an exercise in futility. Yes the MSM wants to hype it because it makes for good 24 hour newscycle fodder. But in the end, it is anybody's guess how this whole thing will play out.

http://blogs.cqpolitics.com/trailmix/2008/03/dirty-delegate-truths.html

snip

Delegate counting in the Democratic contest has become one of those goofy media exercises now that we have such a tight race where the outcome is not likely to be settled for a very long time. The so-called "hard counts" of delegates could prove to be even less reliable than predicting the outcome of a sporting event with nothing but statistics.

snip

The Caucus Myth

For starters, forget about hard counting delegates from just about any caucus state. In many cases, including Iowa, delegates are not directly elected to the national convention. Instead, only delegates to in-state conventions are picked. And final choices on national delegates are not made until late spring, usually at statewide conventions.

Pledged But Not Bound

There is also a dirty secret about pledged delegates, those who are directly elected in primaries. They are “pledged,” but not all are “bound.” Under Democratic Party rules they do not have to vote for the candidate chosen by primary voters (although some states bind them by statute for at least the first convention ballot). Sure, they are bound by conscience -- but don’t forget, many delegates are politicians whose conscience might not be their guiding light if circumstances fundamentally change by convention time.

Super Wild Cards

And then there are the near-800 super delegates -- unelected, unbound and unlikely to present profiles in courage when the going gets tough. Around 75 of them have not even been picked yet, perhaps the ultimate wild card in this unpredictable campaign.

1. Caucuses don't matter.
Math doesn't matter. States that did not vote for Clinton don't matter.

I'll tell you who doesn't matter:

I see your Craig Crawford and raise you one Jonathan Alter:

Hillary's Math Problem

6. Hillary Clinton - that's what matters.
If not now, then in 2012. There are no rules that even should apply. It's time we all bow down.

Nothing matters except getting Clinton to the White House. It's maddening.

8. I know this is true. My daughter was elected a delegate in
Seattle, but she told me it did not mean she was going to the convention, because they had another meeting in the next couple of weeks, and at this meeting, a slate of delegates would be elected to go to the Washington State Convention, and then the delegates for the national convention in Denver would be selected. I do not know what the difference in the numerical count is, but she said it was smaller, or so she had been told. Maybe each state is different, but, I know, that this is true. Maybe a smaller amount of delegates vote the original number, or something. At any rate, none of this is set in stone.

17. At each stage, the number of delegates selected is narrowed
In NV for example, the number of delegates divvied up at the precinct caucus level was narrowed (proportionally) at the county convention. When that group of delegates that were selected at the county convention goes to the state convention, only a small group, I think 25, will go on to the National.

It is the way it is because you can't have thousands of people from one state attending the Ntl. Convention. It's also been this way for a long time.

11. Craig "Taylor Marsh with Testicles" Crawford has zero credibility.
Craig is a shameless Hillary apologist...even defended the slimeball Shaheen when he launched the "Obama is a drug dealer" smear.

Dismiss his nonsense on its face.

I'd forgotten that... when Shaheen smeared Obama, Whiny-Ass-Titty-Baby Craig Crawford was all over MSNBC saying, "What's wrong with what Shaheen said?"

13. Of course it's meaningless. They are counting and keeping track of the delegates
just for fun. If the will of the people is fucked with, no problem. We'll all bow our heads, stick our tails between our legs, and line up behind the "chosen one". I don't think so.

18. Nothing really matters.
Is this the real life-
Is this just fantasy-
Caught in a landslide-
No escape from reality-
Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see-
Im just a poor boy,i need no sympathy-
Because Im easy come,easy go,
A little high,little low,
Anyway the wind blows, doesnt really matter to me,
To me

Mama,just killed a man,
Put a gun against his head,
Pulled my trigger,now hes dead,
Mama,life had just begun,
But now Ive gone and thrown it all away-
Mama ooo,
Didnt mean to make you cry-
If Im not back again this time tomorrow-
Carry on,carry on,as if nothing really matters-

Too late,my time has come,
Sends shivers down my spine-
Bodys aching all the time,
Goodbye everybody-Ive got to go-
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth-
Mama ooo- (any way the wind blows)
I dont want to die,
I sometimes wish Id never been born at all-

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, scaramouche will you do the fandango-
Thunderbolt and lightning-very very frightening me-
Galileo,galileo,
Galileo galileo
Galileo figaro-magnifico-
But Im just a poor boy and nobody loves me-
Hes just a poor boy from a poor family-
Spare him his life from this monstrosity-
Easy come easy go-,will you let me go-
Bismillah! no-,we will not let you go-let him go-
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let him go
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go let me go
No,no,no,no,no,no,no-
Mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go-
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me,for me,for me-

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye-
So you think you can love me and leave me to die-
Oh baby-cant do this to me baby-
Just gotta get out-just gotta get right outta here-

Nothing really matters,
Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters-,nothing really matters to me,
