Twice now Hillary has compared John McCain favorably to
Obama. The lowest thing you can do in party politics is to favorably compare the other party's candidate to your party rival. Once I could overlook as a mistake but twice?

Up until this time I would have gladly gone into the voting booth in November and pulled the lever for either of them. But now I feel like pulling the lever for Hillary would be like pulling the lever for Joe Lieberman.

I will not vote for a Liebercrat in November.

That's right! Hillary Clinton = Liebercrat!

1. Explain that to our soldiers. Voting for whoever the Dem nominee may be
is their only hope to come home.

That's what I say.

9. Do you think the odds are better that McCain will bring them home than HRC?
A Dem is their only hope to come home.

10. So why is Hillary making negative comparisons of Obama to
McCain? Apparently if she can't be president she prefers McCain over Obama.
I support Democrats and I expect the people running as Democratic candidates to do likewise, hence - Liebercrat!

I think that there is a snowball's chance in hell that either of them will bring the troops home.

especially if Kosovo really heats back up again .... and there are signs that it will.

40. Talk a look around these posts..Samantha Powers said BO wouldn't bring
the troops home in 17 months like he's been promising...now try and tell me what's the worst thing someone can do in party politics...this whole McCain thing smacks of Obama-bots desperate to make soemthing out of nothing.

she'll backtrack or reposition herself somehow. Bet on it.

And if you believe she'll do either you're a sucker.

33. Hillary is the one who sent them out in the first place.
The only place they'll be coming home to is Iran or Venezuela if she becomes president. Which fortunately can't happen by now anyway. But will she saddle us with McCain on her disgraceful way out?

She isn't
She is simply stating the fact that Dems would be foolish to run someone as inexperienced as Obama against him. But you can keep pretending you don't know that -- no problem.

23. I don't "pretend" anything
From what I can see neither McCain nor Clinton's experience helped them make the right decision on Iraq.

Also, please explain Senator Clinton's experience. She was First Lady and Obama wasn't? By that standard Laura Bush is a better candidate.

27. She's no more experienced than Obama
Why doesn't she get that? Why don't her supporters? McCain is laughing his ass off at the thought that we're actually turning this into an "experience" race, which is the one and only one way he can win.

21. I've said this before, I think they're secrety in love. Seriously, have you seen the way they
look at each other, with those lovey-dovey eyes? Just bang and get it over with!

Obama is the ONLY one who can go toe-to-toe with McPain on the Iraq War. What's Hillary going to say? I was less enthusiastic than you were John (my love) to send our troops into harm's way? Gimme a break!

3. Triangulation in the classical sense involves two lines intersecting on a single point
McCain is targeting Obama. So is Hillary. The enemy of her enemy is her friend.

Triangulation obviously has no simple meaning.

4. It's even worse ...

It's even worse than that. By implicitly claiming that "experience" is more important than judgement, Hillary not only ceded Obama's national security position to McCain, she ceded her own as well. Her only national security experience is in the Senate and McCain has been in Congress since 1982.

She's acting politically stupid and reckless. Stupid and reckless is NOT something you want from your candidate!!!!

6. Reckless, yes. Stupid, only when viewed from the Democratic Party's POV.
When viewed from her self-centered POV, it's a calculated move designed to give her another shot in 2012. She's not stupid and knows exactly what she's doing. And it makes me dislike her even more than I did when this thing started.

8. And The Dem Party Elders See This And They See Her Flailing Campaign.....
and they will ultimately have to bypass her and go to Obama.

It is really reckless setting up McCain over Obama. I've heard some say that she is setting her sights on 2012.

Maybe she believes Rush, Coulter, etc - when they say they want Repugs to vote for her or maybe she's thinking McCain/Clinton as she wants to get into the WH at all costs and she'll do anything to get there.

17. Oh please -- get real
She's pointing out it would be foolish to put someone as inexperienced as Obama up against McCain. And she is right. Blame it on Obama that he is so arrogant he thinks as a freshman senator he should even be running. It's like the junior executive being so full of himself he goes to the board of directors and demands they hire him as CEO of the company. To me, it's a joke.

24. It's one thing to say something about a long dead President and
it's another to favorably compare the opposition party's candidate to your own party rival. I hated Reagan as much as anyone but what Obama said about Reagan did not hurt Hillary in any way. What Hillary said hurts not only Obama but it hurts the party's chances in November.

32. McCain
I voted for Gore in 2000 but, I admired and would not have been alarmed had McCain been the nominee . However, I see him as either a man with the beginning stages of dementia and/or just as gun crazy as gwbush. Any one running for President who sings "Bomb, bomb Iran" is in my opinion a dangerous fool.
Hillary is off my support list for comparing herself and McCain as better able to lead this country. I hope she does not get the nomination.
