Stop it Now!
for starters:

stop bashing Hillary Clinton, blaming the Iraq invasion on her, calling her a freeper, saying she's using freeper talking points....

Hillary is an outstanding progressive democrat, she's a fighter, a brilliant policy wonk, she fights it out and accomplishes much to improve ordinary americans' lives

some of you Obama supporters are relentless in your hatred of Hillary

you attack her every chance you get, parts of this DU are a cesspool of hatred

hey---i've skimmed through right wing blogs and seen the kinds of evil S%#@ they spew at Hillary, they've done this for YEARS.....

many of you Obama supporter folks on DU, you sound just like those right wing trash types, you are saying the same things as they've said for years...

you make up LIES about her....like bashing her universal health insurance here.....truth is it's way better than leaving out 15 million Americans........and NO ONE will have to pay if they can't afford it.....they will get gov't subsidies......hers is a way better plan than starting out negotiating from an already weakened position.....

you folks have such a double standard....you lie and say she endorsed McCain.....

she did NOT endorse McCain.....she praised his years of service and his military history.....do you have a problem with that? He has a decent immigration stance, and he is a war hero, do you have a problem with that?

Obama has spoken of wanting to reach across the aisle to Republicans, to have a post-partisan administration.....but imagine reaching across the aisle to the likes of folks who implemented the Bush tax cuts, who have rolled back environmental protections to pre 1970s levels? imagine the thought of making nicey nice with the likes of those who have busted unions, upheld strike breakers, and who fight to eliminate a mimimum wage and other worker protections!

where was your OUTRAGE when your candidate praised the Reagan era as the era of stimulating ideas and good feelings?????

what a HORRRIBLE ERA to praise as a good time in American History.....of ALL the NAMES to mention....why not cite Roosevelt and the era of the New Deal????????

WHERE WAS YOUR OUTRAGE???? or maybe you have never read ANY history and never heard of the New Deal?????

STOP bashing Hillary about Nafta....Hillary did not author or implement Nafta.....not only that, but Obama himself is on record for PRAISING NAFTA's consequences for America....Obama is not really a protectionist like Gephardt was....and Obama knows, just like so many others do, that you can't re-negotiate or withdraw from Nafta.....Bill Clinton fought to have labor and environmental side agreements added to Nafta....Bill did NOT author Nafta....Reagan did, and so did poppy Bush, Mulroney, and Salinas

and while we're at it....Obama has also favored the new trade accord with Peru (but conveniently did not actually vote for or against it)

So STOP IT, STOP BASHING HILLARY, you are not democrats!!!!!!!!!!

second point:

It's really sad how this democratic nominating process has evolved.....

the problem is, we have two excellent candidates now....

it's sad that if one or the other is selected, half of the dems are going to feel tremendously disappointed and perhaps bitter, possibly to the point of not voting.....let's hope no one is so immature as to sit out the election and allow 4 more years of republican destruction....but it's a possibilty....

I hear they've redecorated recently, and they've completely done away with the "Cesspool of Hatred" centerpiece they had on the doily for awhile.

3. Hillary Clinton is not a progressive Democrat.
She's centre-right; a bit further right than Obama (who, to be fair, is not a progressive, either). There are no genuinely progressive Democrats on the national stage; the rightward shift of both the party and the country in general have seen to that.

14. You can't read, can you?
I said 'Obama, to be fair, isn't a progressive either'. But further right than Hillary? I don't think so. (Check Obama vs Clinton's respective interest-group ratings; Obama was rated the most liberal US Senator, so to say that he's 'further right than Hillary' requires either cognitive dissonance or abject stupidity.)

16. That was on a right wing website which chose irrelevant bills to gauge
Check it out .They only say that to use against him in the GE.
A lot of the bills ,he was absent for, which gave him a more "liberal" rating.

30. Universal health insurance does what?
Crikey.

Now Hillary's version is not anywhere near perfect. Does not go far enough. But she is right on mandates.

But - do I hear that you are not for universal health care/ coverage?

Join the GOP.

And word to the wise - Ner, Ner is not an argument.

...infantile and pathetic.

Let the r/w play their games. let's try to stay on a higher ground.

Obama and Clinton both know how to fight. Let them do it. Either way we have a BIG improvement over the last years of Bushco.

but then you will also have to take that 35 years experience away as well.

Can't have that both ways. She can't ride on Bill's coat tails for some issues but not for others.

If you would have cited some of Hillary's multple offenses you would have a little credibility. She did endorse McCain; you are just too stupid to see it or in complete denial. Hillary betrayed the party and those that still support her betray the party.

she started planting the knife in his back and producing spots for future GOP commercials knowing she has ZERO chance to catch him in the delegate race. That's why I will not forgive her.

I have lost all respect for Hillary since she began her 'kitchen sink' strategy against Obama, along with her lies. But, apparently, that's okay with you.

You also need to stop telling grown folks how to act, what to say. I shouldn't have to point out to you that there are upset, ardent supporters on both sides.

You are, obviously, a Hillary supporter, BASHING Obama and WHINING about people bashing your candidate.

I can't speak for all Obama supporters, but this one is sick of Hilly Hypocrites.

I intend to give as good as I get.

33. Historically, dems fight like the dickens
and NONE of them are perfect.

Obama and Clinton are both democrats and fighting like the dickens. neither are perfect.

They know how to play the game and how it is played.

Partisan followers however, are just being childish when they engage in this on-line version of the sandbox fight.

21. I'm curious about what her path to victory really is.
How is she going to win this thing? Lose the delegate race, lose the popular vote, and somehow come away with a win from the convention?

And helps the party how? She won't ever win a general if she does that. Her negatives will be even higher than they were when this thing started.

How does she get to the Whitehouse? Do you have any plausible scenario?

If you guys really think he has the right stuff then stop demonizing Hillary and look to Obama to fight as hard as she is for this Nomination.

Stop blaming Hillary for being the 'bitch' that she is - THAT is what I like about her and THAT is what will win US the WhiteHouse in November.
