Do we need two GD-P forums?
Edited on Thu Mar-06-08 01:45 PM by backscatter712
One for Clinton supporters and one for Obama supporters.

DU, among other things, is supposed to be a supportive place. Some may say echo chamber, but I think we need echo chambers - we need places where we can be supportive and not tear each other down.

So maybe a way to get DU back towards civility is to split GD:P into two forums - one for each candidate, with clear ground rules stating that Hillary fans trolling the Obama forums or vice-versa gets you post deletions or even tombstones.

I suppose a third forum could be added - GD-P: Candidate debating, for those who wish to continue the fighting, keep it in its own corner.

Should it be time to do this?

2. That's true.
Maybe the mods should start encouraging people to use them.

8. I think we're doing pretty well as is with GD-P and Hillaryis44.
Although some of us "Obamabots" should go over there and shake things up a bit. ;)
