* Affirmative action
* Wage and hour issues
* Personnel handbooks

* Compliance reviews and training

That's news

And yes, WalMart donates heavily to her campaign.

But old skeletons are not news.

6. What MOST of Rose Law Firm did - Protect Jackson Stephens, the biggest client at Rose
Edited on Thu Mar-06-08 01:06 PM by blm
who staked WalMart, brought the terrorist bank BCCI into this country with GHWBush, and bankrolled the Clintons political careers in Arkansas and underwrote Bill's primary campaign in 1992.

Gee - what DID happen to all the MANY outstanding matters in BCCI when Bill took office?

Gee - you think Bushies wanted to get into Rose Law Firm to examine a little Clinton land deal like Whitewater or to USE Whitewater as COVER for when they went into Rose to scrub all the files for Jackson Stephens' EXTENSIVE DEALINGS with GHWBush and Dubai and Saudi royals in connection with their NUMEROUS dealings on BCCI matters?

Would Clintons put up with some heat in exchange for protecting BushInc and Stephens from the White House?

19. Most large law firms have multiple practice areas and she was a partner
so anyone who worked at the firm would technically have worked for her.

When she served on the board of Wal-Mart, as we all WELL KNOW, it was a very different company. Sam Walton was alive, and their slogan was "made in America". It was also the largest company in Arkansas. When she was on the board, she strove to improve things for women at the company (she was the only woman on the board). So what's your point?

25. This is a silly sort of thread
I don't think you're going to turn up anything very controversial by going back to the 80s. The facts that Hillary was a director at Walmart and Walmart is far from being progressive is already out there. This is freeper-style thinking.

26. The fact that Rose's biggest client was WalMart staker Jackson Stephens and HE is also
the man who brought the terrorist bank BCCI into this country with GHWBush SHOULD matter. Especially since Bill deep-sixed BCCI matters throughout the 90s, and is now collecting MILLIONS from the same Dubai source who staked BCCI.

27. Jackson Stephens' firm underwrote the initial public offering for WalMart
http://www.nytimes.com/2005/07/28/business/28stephens.html

Mr. Stephens was chief executive in 1970 when the firm underwrote the initial public offering for Sam Walton's discount store chain. Wal-Mart Stores is now the world's largest retailer.

32. Insider Report: Rose Law Firm Disses Hillary
The firm does still have a Clinton connection — Rose represents the William J. Clinton Presidential Foundation, an international non-profit organization.

But only one Rose partner has reportedly contributed to Hillary's campaign. CEO Steve Joiner gave $250 in March.
