More Clinton Hypocrisy; slammed senate opponent over Tax Returns!
Edited on Thu Mar-06-08 12:07 PM by demdog78
from Americablog:

Hillary Clinton called it "Frankly Disturbing" when her senate opponent refused to release his tax returns.

Pot, meet Kettle.

Snip:

She called it "frankly disturbing" that he refused to release his returns, and now she won't release her own returns when Obama released his a year ago.

Hillary's right. It does look like she's hiding something:
Mr. Lazio pledged to release his tax returns soon after entering the Senate race in May, but had not done so, raising suspicions about whether he had the kind of financial problems that have tripped up other politicians in New York in recent decades.

The campaign of his Democratic opponent, Hillary Rodham Clinton, criticized the delay, asking whether he was hiding something.

There's lots more:

2. Just realized someting
Hillary has been saying that she'd release her tax returns but it was taking time for the accountants to get all the information together. That seemed strange to me (our return is sitting in a box and it would take less than a minute to retrieve it). Then the light bulb went off. The issue is about her 2006 return, but she hopes that people in the middle of preparing their own 2007 returns will think that's what's being discussed and that the accountants aren't finished yet. That's what is behind her campaign saying the return will be released close to April 15; they are trying to confuse the years. But to what purpose? When April 15 comes, will they say they had to file for an extension until August?
