Couldn't Edwards basically make HRC have to give up if he pledged his delegates to Obama (26 of them). Or couldn't he make this a much more interesting race by doing the same, but with Clinton. I'm just playing a what-if game, not endorsing either candidate. I know the delegate math is overwhelmingly on Obama's side (unless FL and MI get new primaries), but it seems Edwards holds the key to this thing going one way or another, but he's been pretty quiet.

5. He controls his delegates
and he CANNOT be forced to give them to anyone....even if the obamites stomp their feet really hard.

7. I thought they could do as they pleased,

8. These aren't superdelegates
They are delegates that he won in the first primaries. He can throw them to either candidate with an endorsement or he can use them as bargaining chips to get his ideas on the party platform.

9. I know... I'm talking about the pledged delegates.
As I understand it, they can still switch their support, pledged or not.

4. Give them to Hillary.
I don't want her to have one singe excuse for losing.
