2. Dean direct and to the point.
Wolf predictably spinning to support the administration.

3. Bushgate?
He said the lies needed to be investigated. Dr. Dean is relentless! How about Dean to replace Terry McAuliffe as chairman of the DNC?

4. Dean: Not the year for Nader.
Edited on Sun Apr-04-04 12:12 PM by Old and In the Way
Country will be set back too badly, can't afford Nader. He urges his voters, this one time, to put aside differences and support Kerry.

A vote for Nader is a vote for George Bush.

Sounds clear to me.

11. Give 'em hell, Dr. Dean!
I really liked how he described Bush as a spendthrift (one who squanders money). I rather like the phrase "tax cut and spend"--a phrase which we should throw in their hypocritical faces every time they use "tax and spend" on us Democrats.

13. I like Dean's take on Nader
He showed him respect but soud directly, this is not the year for him.

I think this is a good way to treat him. Way to go Dean.

5. Boy, is Dean kicking ass!
Knocking down Wolf's points and mincing no words in doing it.

6. Dean is quite fired up today
And Wolfie's attempts to defend Bush are being swatted in typical Dean fashion. Very good interview today for Dean.

9. I love Howard Dean
The Bush Administration is laughable. Why anyone would believe one of his ads is beyond me. Message HE'S A LIAR. Howard's got good instincts.

10. "Bush good. Kerry bad."
CNN could save a lot of money by placing a cardboard cutout of Wolf at his desk, and playing that pre-recorded message.

15. I like Dean in this role ...
He can say what the rest of us know and not have to worry about how it affects his polling numbers .... and there's enough distance between him and the Kerry camp that regardless of what links the BFEE tries to make, ('nyah nyah ... your camp said x and it isn't true') Kerry can always say that Dean is merely speaking his own mind.

Love that strategery !!!

16. Folks are going to miss him a lot more
Especially as they keep looking at Kerry. Imagine this, there are still primaries to go and we don't even get to pick the best candidate.

17. That, too...
C. Wright Mills said, in The Sociological Imagination, that one of the alternatives for the public intellectual is to be a maker of Kings. I can see Dean in that spot, keeping Kerry's feet to the fire, helping to shape public discourse and policy in the new Administration.

Then, look out in '08 cause people-powered-Howard will have 4 years of clout built up with which to play ball.

:hippie:

Hey Voltaire, like my sig line ? Look like something out of any books you're reading at the moment ? :P
