Want to grantee WI is a blue state in NOV.
In WI we have a VERY popular senator by the name of Russ Feingold. He is becoming a All-Star Democrat and I see him running for President someday. Why not consider him as a running mate. That would grantee WI being a blue state in Nov. Plus Russ is the most honest and straight forward politicians i have ever seen. He is a gem for WI, but I would let him go for the higher cause.

Wisconsin Poll numbers March 26, 2004

Kerry: 46%
Bush: 43%
Nader: 4%

6. He would be great as VP
and president as well. I hope he runs in '12 (hopefully Kerry will be running for reelection in '08. Fiengold is not only economically populist but understands the wishes of those in his state on issues like guns. He's a civil libertarian and showed a lot of political courage by being the only member to vote against the PATRIOT Act.

7. We all love Feingold, but that's because he is EXTREMELY liberal
therefore I don't see how anyone who likes him could even consider voting for Chimp-faced Chimp-brained squatter in the White House, so I don't see the advantage. Besides, we need him in the Senate.

11. Right....
I think Darrow's gonna be the one running against him, he's loaded,(he owns a huge chain of car dealerships across the state) and no doubt that the Repukes are gonna be shoveling cash his way. I can also see this race getting as nasty as the Chambliss/Cleland race form two years ago.

13. could anyone be worse than that Nazi Mark Neumann?
remember, that sorry sumbitch nearly beat Russ. We can't take anything for granted.

I've already had one used car dealer wreck my baseball team, I don't need another one to wreck the senate:)

17. Russ Darrow? You gotta be kidding me.
Just because he has money doesn't mean he's a threat. I scoff at him.

14. As I understand your election law though
it's not like most states, where a vacancy is appointed by the governor. So if Feingold runs for both offices and wins, another election must be called, which would be a virtual tossup. And if he doesn't run, it's the same thing. We need him in the Senate.

16. Not if they do to him what they did to Cleland in 2002.
I can see the negative Ads with Feingold's face up next ot bin Laden's.

It's going to be a very dirty campaign.
