Why is H. Clinton stalling the release of her tax info and White House records as First Lady?

From the Ohio debate, regarding the records of her years as First Lady:

"MR. RUSSERT: But you've had it for more than a month. Will you get to him -- will you get it to the White House immediately?

SEN. CLINTON: As soon as we can, Tim. I've urged that, and I hope it will happen."

She HOPES it will happen?? I thought HOPE was a bad word to Clinton. The Clintons have the records. Why don't they move to release the information? She uses Bill's term to prop up her experience so why is she so reluctant to give up these records?

And how about that tax information?

"Does her refusal entitle us to think the worse? I believe it does, given that her campaign is masterful at calculation, that it must have done the strategic arithmetic and decided that the heat they're taking for non-disclosure is less hellish than the alternative. After all, as ABC pointed out, "Only tax forms would reveal whether a wealthy candidate -- many of the 2008 candidates are multimillionaires -- have used loopholes to duck taxes."

Clinton insists that she has been vetted to a greater degree than Obama, so she has made transparency an issue. She is blatantly hypocritical to claim she is better vetted while refusing to release her tax information and White House records to the public.

Last night Clinton lost the nomination.

Rather than gaining delegates against Obama she fought to a mere +15 delegates (maybe less). So far this week she has lost 4 SDs to Obama. With Mississippi and Wyoming coming up her big night will be completely wrapped up.

So why not go out on a high note?

Its about the money. She is bringing in $ 1,000,000 a day and only spending a fraction of that. Of the $35 million she raised in Feb she spent only $6 million on ad buys.

This way she repays her loan and builds up a huge war chest for future political activity - just like she did in her Senatorial campaign. She has $ 20 million + for GE money that she has collected and maybe she can bring the total to $ 50 million. She would never have to have another fund raiser for Senate, or she could give it out and run for Majority Leader. Or. . .


She can also damage Obama enough so that he loses the GE and in 4 years she will start the campaign with $ 50 million

In any case she will find a time in a few weeks to concede and everyone will say 'my golly what a classy woman' lol. The nomination

race is over. Obama only needs 46% of the remaining delegates to win. Now its about the money. She will quit before the tax

returns have to be released.

The Clinton Campaign said they will release the Clinton's Tax returns around April 15. The National Archives have finished going thru The First Ladies Correspondence. Now the Bush Administration has to okay their release.

If you read the papers or watched the news you might have known these facts.
