My thoughts on a VP
I frankly think that a ticket with Hillary and Obama would be the dream ticket, and then in * years Obama can run for President, think of the experience, he can pick Bill brain, and meet the people that Bill is connected to, take those people connect them with the people that Obama is familiar with, that would give Obama a huge poll to pick his Cabinet from, and if he could bring a house an senate with him,he could get some things like Health care passed, something republicans has kelp the nation from getting since WW11 and Harry Truman...I don't think we can afford much now no matter which wins the top of the ticket, it will take 8 years to clean up Bush's mess. just think what 16 years of democrat rule could dofor the nation.. If we get many more republicans we are going to be a third would country.

3. Except the part that says "It will take 8 years to clean up Bush's mess."
No. 40 years from now our children will still be hamstrung by the consequences of Bush's reckless policies.

2. With all due respect, let's see how this plays out
I am confident that obama will pick a strong VP when the time is appropriate.

4. It generally takes about 20 years to clean up a president's
mess. With Bush it may take longer especially if he is followed by McCain.

5. Yes but like Bill Clinton, much of it could be cleaned up in 8 years
If Bush wasn't in bed with defense contractors and oil men, we could have come a long way in 8 years, WE should have remembered Ike's words in his last address to the nation, before he left office.
