Kerry's ads need to tear Bush apart.
Gore played nicey-nice and, though he won, his win did not give him enough states to stop the theft in Florida. Kerry needs to air ads showing Bush's flip-flops and ads where Bush's words are run against pictures showing the opposite (while Bush talks positively about the economy, the ad should show people living in the streets, etc) and ads that repeat Bush's lie about weapons of mass destruction - the same way that was done with Clinton's words. The ads should show the people being removed from the unemployment roles despite their continued unemployment. This is war and most of America is uninformed. Kerry owes these uninformed people the obligation to educate them before the election. He also needs to air ads making everyone question the voting machines. We need to create a sense of urgency about these machines. Polls show that negative ads do work. We don't need a guy who will be nice to a terrorist like Bush. We need a candidate who will fight hard enough to win.

1. That was why Dean was so great
If Kerry starts to revert to mr. nice guy, middle of the roader, old DLC'er..then guess what folks? we are screwed AGAIN!!!

All Kerry has to do is run the ad from Save The Media - it is brutal and truthful - that's all that needs to be seen -

And he needs to fight back big time - but you know, I don't think he has that much fire in his belly.

2. Strategy guys
too much negative too early will do the same. Let the news issues carry the anti-bush message and save your strength for when it matters. Between our convention and the Republican one.

3. Bush's news media won't contain any real negativity
The public deserves the truth. Time and time again, it has been proven that negative ads work.

4. The leading news story last night was
"John Kerry's first negative political campaign ad"

I don't recall the same news station (local) saying "Bush puts up negaitive Kerry Ads"

I think that if Kerry is going to come out swinging he better be careful what he throws out (fact check after fact check) and be prepared NOT TO STOP.

It is sad that the battle is Kerry vs. Bush and the Media instead of Kerry vs. Bush umpired by the media.

5. Just do a Bush vs Bush ad like they did on the Daily Show.....
that should do the trick.

Pick an issue, any issue...and do Bush vs. Bush....it will do wonders....
