Hillary Failed According To Her Own Stated Goals. Wolfson:We'll Be AHEAD In Delegates. Penn: +25
Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 02:10 PM by cryingshame
Make them eat their words-

Chief Strategist Mark Penn: “After March 4th, over 3000 delegates will be committed, and we project that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will be virtually tied with 611 delegates still to be chosen in Pennsylvania and other remaining states. Again and again, this race has shown that it is voters and delegates who matter, not the pundits or perceived ‘momentum.’”

Clinton aide Guy Cecil: "We think that at the end of the day on March 4 we will be within 25 delegates.”

Howard Wolfson: “I Think We Will Be Ahead In The Delegate Race After Texas And Ohio.”

3. Just wait until the Texas caucus is finished.
They might not even make Bill's goal of winning Texas.

4. You can move the goal posts as much as you want,
it's the kicker that has to finish the deal.

Remember, remember, the 5th of... February.

5. What a bunch of butt-kissing sychophants: Penn, Wolfson, Grunwald, McAuliffe, etc.
I'm fed up with them all.

7. Contrast that with the uncanny accuracy of Obama's campaign predictions

17. No pressure on the states remaining, huh? Up until yesterday,
I had been saying that although I'd be happy if it was all over in Obama's favor yesterday, I kind of hoped that it would not end because I live in Indiana and we don't have our primary until the beginning of May. If the election was still alive until May then the race would be that much more exciting in Indiana. Not just exciting "entertaining" but exciting as in getting lots of people involved in elections who haven't been involved before -- important for our state and nation. Now, especially after listening to the video you linked to and hearing that the Obama campaign is counting on Indiana, I am officially scared. Okay. Deep breath and off we go!

9. Obama, considering the Kitchen sink, didn't fare too badly........
Guess that Hillary's campaign is about to go for the toilet now.

Guess that Obama will have to follow them there, unfortunately.....

but since he hasn't been given a choice, that's what needs to be done.

13. Hillary has used up all her ammo at this point.
Unless she can somehow keep the debunked smears alive, she has nothing left to throw (aside from just making up more shit).

10. Thank you
I thought I remember Wolfson and Co. saying states don't nominate, delegates do. And that is the truth.

11. But that was before they needed to change their story...
in order to keep giving John McCain more ammo for the GE.

In it to win it!

14. This is what happens when you write off certain states as not worth
the time to campaign in. You start making up excuses for why your candidate didn't do as well as expected.

The Obama camp is making no such mistake - they have the boots on the ground in all 50 states.

16. so far she netted 12 delegates yesterday
Texas was a draw. Vermont cancelled Rhode Island, and she won Ohio by a few percentage points. Obama has won 27 of 41 contests and still leads in overal delegates. Tom Brokow reported yesterday that there are 50 superdelegates waiting to announce over the next few weeks for Obama

18. Wow, she totally underperformed. At least she gets a couple of days more of good press.
