For Obama supporters...
I don't know if this has been discussed yet but, STOP CALLING INTO RIGHTWING RADIO AND CRYING ABOUT HOW IT IS NOT FAIR THAT THE republiCONS have crossed over and voted for Hillary. Do you really think they give a damn they are laughing at you. For the supporters who are talking about Obama doesn't need to throw any dirt, you have got to be kidding aren't you?

From what I have seen from Hillary that is just child's play when it comes to the republiCONS. We want to win and if he is the nominee I don't want to see any mealy mouth talk about not getting into the dirt. Some of these listeners on the radio must be new to the game, if they haven't seen what republiCONS do. We want to win so whoever the nominee is has got to be tough. I don't want to see any of that Kerry nuance shit again...

1. I posted something real ugly to make a point
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=4904345&mesg_id=4904345

Hillary is using dirty tactics to try to beat Obama, but what the Hillary supporters dont seem to get is that if she wins the nom, the right will turn so hard and fast and will attack her like they did all throughout the 90's. Rush built his career trashing her and would love to rip into her again this fall. That she is using the same tactics to fight Obama that the right has used and WILL USE on her is terrible.

11. The right would slander Mother Teresa if she was our candidate.

In fact, I think they have. The point is, Obama can take care of himself, and those of us who support him have courage in how he's handled himself so far.

6. Obama has shown that he can defend himself, without throwing the mud first..
And to me, that is important. I want a guy who stands up for himself, but isn't loading the gun and shooting first for no reason at all.

If you want to vote for someone who is unethical and will fight and claw away for any possible gain (and Hillary isn't there for you to pull the lever), then McCain will be. I want something new, something different.. something that hasn't alraedy been creeping around Washington for the past 20 - 30 years.

That's what a lot of you don't get.. we don't WANT our candidate to sink to that level. And so far, he's done a great job. Please realize.. last night he was suppose to lose by 20 - 30 points in TX & OH. He didn't. He's still way a head in delegates.. and he doesn't look nearly as slimey, political or calculated as Clinton does. That's why we like him.

Regarding the republicans crossing over.. it doesn't appear to me to have done much good - other then possibly give Clinton a bit of momentum that really can't help her in the long run. Rush got what he wanted.. a longated Democratic fight.

8. So if he is the nominee...
and McCain and the republiCONs are throwing all types of lies and smears at him do you want to see him all through the campaign explaining such things like is he a muslim ,or some other lies that will be dug up and made up.Tell me how do you fight McCain because it will be a fight whether you want to believe that or not.

14. Nope.. i want him to do EXACTLY what he's already been doing..
Very succesfully against Clinton. I want him to quickly and decicively reply to the attacks with the truth, and I want him to set the record straight. Kerry's mistake with the swiftboats, is that he waited and didn't reply at all. Then when he finally did after it blew up, it was far to late.

I want Obama to attack issues - those are irrifutible. McCain wants war in Iraq, Obama doesn't. McCain wants no form of health care reform, Obama does. McCain continues with the push for making abortion illegal, and supressing gay rights - Obama does not. Obama can win on the issues.. he doesn't need to delve in and throw out information on McCain having an affiar (which he did), and him messing around on his wife with a lobbiest. He doesn't NEED to do this crap.. the media is frankly more then happy to find anything out there anyway.

So, I want Obama to quickly stand up and defend himself on things that are unrelated to the issues. I want him to strongly attack ON the ISSUES.

He's done this to Hillary from day one.. and it's gotten him this far. She's thrown everything she can think of at him.. possibly things that the republicans may not have even done. And so far- he's still winning.

15. He has done it a little but...
he needs to give more detail about what he going to do I am tired of seeing his supporters not being able to explain what he will do on certain issues, and the hesitating is kind of irritating. Hillary comes out forcefully and strong and explains in details...

10. I thought Obama supporters LOVE open primaries?
Where would Obama be if only registered Dems were allowed to participate in primaries and caucuses? :eyes:
