8. He's too busy trying to keep Michigan and Florida disenfranchised
for offending his precious White Primary of Iowa/NH.

10. Michigan and Florida Dems ought to get involved and elect some new leaders
then they wouldn't have to worry about it

Hillary got 55% of the vote in Michigan....SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE ON THE BALLOT!!

14. I think that's what he meant
Yes, DK was on the ballot and pulled in an insignificant amount.

13. True that
Except that the DLCers are pretty firmly entrenched in the FDP. It's gonna take a lot of outside help and funds to get rid of them. They refuse to supply FDP funds to any liberal or progressive candidate against a R in the GE. They are more concerned with retaining their own power than with winning elections against Rs. We need our own "50 County Strategy"...

11. "..his precious White Primary of Iowa/NH."
Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't this thing with Iowa/NH been happening for several election cycles before Dean? And why wasn't there a whole lot of bitching about it when it first started.

I don't mean to offend anyone but Michigan and Florida were aware of the rules, because they've been in place for years, and yet it wasn't important previously to try to change them, what was so important that they had to do it this time?

17. It was McAuliffe's rule and Dean has no choice but to enforce the rules voted on
by the party, the new rules and the old ones KEPT in place by party vote.

21. There was plenty of bitching about it
even here. A year ago, everyone professed to hate Iowa's and New Hampshire's special status. Now everybody is determined to disenfranchise two large states over the issue.

15. Terry McAuliffe put up that rule. Dems voted to KEEP that rule. Dean has no choice and blaming him
is Clinton tactic to push him out because STUPID PEOPLE will buy their concocted spin that it is Dean's fault.
