Poll: Bush Leads In Indiana (Bush: 52%, Kerry: 37%)
http://www.imaweb.com/BellwetherPoll.pdf

Poll of 600 likely Indiana voters taken March 22nd through 24th. Despite the lead, it is another state poll that shows public sentiment is upside down with most viewing the country being on the wrong track. Kerry's favorables have also gone up unfortunately, with more seeing him unfavorably than favorably according to this poll.

3. sounds like more BUllshit to me
we already have seen how the whitehouse orders CNN to lie at will, why should we believe these rediculous poll results?

what has Bush scored any points for as far as I can tell the mainstream is now against him, the fools that supported him are embarassed by the carnage they are responsible for.

No - these polls are part of their unravelling fraud.

12. Yes CNN is the tool of the GOP...
... and so is MSNBC, CBS, THE new York Times, the Washington post and generally anyone save perhaps Al Franken and Micheal Moore but they have both been gotten to as well... give me a freaking break... why do so many of the left of the party have this persecution complex?... at least the conservatives channeled into something "constructive" during the 60's and 70's we just mope about!

15. because many of them are persecuted for their beliefs?
that "constructive" channeling involved destroying the state, the legitimacy of the state and a vast majority of the laws meant to protect the people from the powerfull.

Watching idiots, like the DLC, come up with, time and time again, electoral startegies that get our asses handed to us on a plate also adds to the general dispeptic mood. The DLC has a good grasp on some aspects of policy but a shabby understanding of electoral dynamics.

17. good pionts...

... i meant constructive for them (conservatives i mean)... from my perspective conservatives is just differing shades of irresponsibility... but that’s just my view... the DLC can be good when it comes to policy however with electoral politics it has had problems but the witness 92 and 96! But then again Carville and Stephanopoulos where pretty important there.... gods bless James Carville...

4. No Surprise
What's the surprise. I lived in Indiana for five years, moved out in 2003. All, but one county is dominated by Republicans (Lake County is the ONLY predominately Democratic county in Indiana). So don't be surprised. Indiana is NOT a Kerry stronghold -- and never will be. Hell, Indiana voted against Roosevelt at least twice.

6. any Indiana polls with Evan Bayh as vp ?
i'm wondering if there are any indiana polls with evan bayh as vp. i think it would give kerry some more points, but not enough to gaurantee the state. but there were rumors a while back that polls did show kerry could take indiana with bayh as vp, but since i never saw any made public i questioned them. maybe it was bayh and his supproters who spread the rumor ? hehhe.

7. Makes no sense to me.
That can't be right. Is maybe the key in how they determine who is a 'likely voter'?

I've lived in this stupid state most of my life and how I EVER stayed Democrat I'll never know! Thank God for my strong Democratic family and longtime poltician grandfather who has always been Democrat. I HATE this state. These people are so ignorant. I wish I could move but I can't. My spouse would never move and our house is almost paid off. I believe this poll. Democrats are really looked down upon around here and I can't figure out why. We have unions and farmers just like Iowa! So why can't we be more like Iowa??? It must be its past history of having strongholds in KKK membership back in the early 20th century or something. The only progressive areas are where the minorities in the bigger cities are or around the college towns in Bloomington or Lafayette. I love my physical home but I hate the attitudes of the majority of the people. People smirk at me here when I say I'm a Democrat but I'm not afraid to be proud of it anymore. Maybe I need to stay here for a reason. My vote has never counted for anything, I feel like most of the time. Just ~*ONCE*~ in my lifetime I would like to see Indiana turn Democrat on the electoral map. Sorry for ranting but it makes me so MADDDDD!!

I have been hoping that with all the plant closings around here that people would start to wake up. I guess not. Oh well, they never polled me.

edited for typos!

14. Stupid People
Indiana is another state hit hard by plants closing. But since Kerry Kerry is from the evil place called New England they won't vote for him. Boggles the mind

16. Moved here 8 years ago from Philadelphia
and let me tell you, I have YET to understand the slavish devotion to the Republican Party that is Indiana. Thank God for Julia Carson or it would be REALLY bleak politically here.
