So why is Joe Scarborough so damned happy this morning?
Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 08:15 AM by Mystery2Me
Because he desperately wants Clinton to be the nominee for a GOP victory in November. After all she is the candidate of choice for the DLC, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and the corporations that run this country. If that doesn't give you pause, then nothing else will.

EDITED to add: Flipped over to Fox News this morning to see the GOP spin. Who do I see but Karl Rove himself. And he was just one short step from whacking off right there on the set at the prospects of Clinton as the Democratic nominee.

There's a reason why these people are so happy.

I'm surprised they didn't call for Obama to drop out
They were acting like Clinton flipped the pledged delegate race on its head yesterday.

11. He was rather dishonest on the delegate issue
giving no estimate of actual pledged pick up numbers - but claiming the total delegate number (pledged plus declared super delegate) would be about 70 to 80 higher for Obama. he also said the Obama people had said their advantage would be unchanged, when they had said it wouldn't change much - and, in fact, though the delegate numbers aren't in - that appears to be the case.

5. No GOP will be able to contain themselves this morning
They get to keep this nonsense going in the media and every day we don't have a nominee gives them a better chance in November.

4. Because Hillary asked him to be her running mate.
She was practically purring. He was eating from her hand.

He also predicted she would win Ohio and Texas and felt very satisfied with his intellect and political savvy.

8. He wants the dem race to continue so that McCain can be above the fray
and the Dems are fighting like mad--against each other.

9. Because the MSM has their prolonged Dem primary
and the GOP has wrapped theirs up...that's why the Rethugs are so damn happy.

10. The Right wants the primary to go forever. This way, Democrats will tear themselves apart and
McCain will not have to work.

Sadly, they got their wish yesterday. Clinton will probably net a handful of delegates, but the media will be able to change the narrative and to keep the race going. In addition, you're right, they'd love to have her as the nominee, but, either way, they are winning if the race goes on until the Convention.

Congratulation, President McCain.
