And I'll tell you why-----strategy.
I find it amusing how the Clinton/Obama people engage in silly stubburn fights over candidates who basically offer the same thing. There just isn't THAT big a difference that it makes sense to sit out an election and hand it to McCain, or just fight to the end tearing each other apart and giving it to McCain. I can't believe that anyone here really wants that.
To me, I realize I won't get the things that my candidate offered because there truly are differences between Kucinich and the big two, but I will not sit by and watch the Republicans win another one. So the important question for me is---who can beat him?
Clinton can never attack him for his war vote. Obama can. You can argue all day long how Obama might have voted but the fact is his hands are clean on this one.
The polls show that Obama does better against McCain. It's just a fact.
Obama gets more crossover voters.
Clinton---like it or not--has a high unfavorablity rating.
I want to win this one. The stubbornness to the point of self-destruction is insane when you consider what's at stake.
So yeah, I'm 45, make well under 100,000 dollars a year, a white male and I'll be voting Obama. And I'm hoping at this point that the rest of this state does the same thing and brings an end to this mess so we can focus on winning an actual presidential election.
