1. Did Obama actually win the caucus? I see O 52 vs. C 48, with 36% reporting. n/t

3. you're right
Only 36% reporting. If it does go for Obama in the caucus, what happens with the delegates?

12. They are divided proportionally
And, I think, not yet fully allocated. The Texas delegate conventions are progressive and go on through June 6-7

2. I think the primary contains 65% of total delegates and caucus is the rest. I'm not sure if caucus
is winner take all. Anyone?

4. Not winner take all
But at this point it doesn't matter.

Hillary did not make the gains necessary to win the nomination. Obama is on a coasting trajectory to 2025.

10. Probably not. Super delegates make up 795 of the 4047 total delegates
But he will get a total of 2025 delegates with pledged and super delegates easily even if Hillary somehow manages to get a double digit lead of super delegates.

13. What Hillary did last night was
get the 2 big State wins as reason to stay in the race. The SPIN she and the media are putting on it is: HILLARY WON BIG. HILLARY HAS THE BIG MO.

If Obama were to win a couple of quick victories in Wyoming and Mississippi, then the euphoria dies down.

What happened last night was a convention in Denver with no nominee going in, a divided Democratic Party, and a John McCain Presidency. Everything the Rethugs could have hoped for.

6. The caucus delegates are split proportionally
...to the number of attendees that sign in for each candidate.

5. Obama hasnt won the caucus. He still may but lets wait and see
If he wins the caucus, he will probably end up with more delegates in Texas.

7. Have you seen this page?
http://www.txdemocrats.org/page/s/pcresults

You have to give personal information and sign an agreement to get itin but the numbers are updated every two minutes. Every county, every Senate district in the state.
