Congrats President McCain
This will not end at Pennsylvania. Do not even think about it... this nightmare will drag on to Denver. Democrats will be divided, likely fracture, McCain will be elected.

This is very sad to see.

5. No the writing is on the wall. What difference will PA make? If HC wins Obama moves on to NC
and continues this cycle and NEITHER will ever get ENOUGH delegates to clinch.

2. Agreed. But the Clintons will be happy, because Hillary will be positioned for '12.

10. Exactly
and it's all about them and what they want, fuck the country. They've proven that time and time again.

4. He could have waited until he has more experience
If this causes a President McCain you will only have Obama to blame. 3 yrs ago he was a state senator in IL. He could have waited until he had enough credible experience in government to actually win. Even if he wins the nod he will not win the general election against McCain because of that simple fact. He's too arrogant to think he needs any credible experience.

6. I pretty much agree...
Also I definately do not like the fact that Obama is against concealed carry, which is legal in Texas and most other states. That is why I did not vote for him.

15. Joe Biden and Chris Dodd have more experience, and they didn't win.
Bill Clinton ran when he was the same age as Obama.

Obama has no way to know if some later year would have been better for him.

20. Biden got bagged with plagiarism and hairplugs the first time he ran.
Dodd dated Carrie Fisher--can you trust his judgment?

Both just didn't have "that THANG" -- hell, Adelai Stevenson had more charisma.

Bill Clinton was a two term governor--he had that executive experience. It does make a difference. AND he had that 'charisma.'

JFK served in war, in command. Granted, it was a shitty little PT boat, but he had a power plant, a crew and all the "executive" issues that attend command. AND...there was that little business of his vessel being chopped in half and having to deal with THAT business. His relatively brief political career on the Hill got a 'bump' from that. His daddy's PR Shop going full-bore to publicize him didn't hurt, either.

By the same token, Senator Clinton gets a 'bump'--like it or not--for being "Close to the Throne." The work on the Watergate Commission or any of the child poverty/voter registration stuff she did in her youth aren't credited like her 'ambassadorial' duties are, to say nothing of the fact that she was, like it or not, her husband's closest advisor. And his most trusted one. EVEN when he fucked up.

What impresses me about Clinton is a small thing to the average voter, but it's a biggie to me--she managed to persuade Robert Byrd, He Who Must Be Obeyed (when it comes to committee assignments) to give her a seat on the SASC. That, in and of itself, is amazing. Her work on the SASC is also very solid. She does know what the fuck she's talking about when it comes to Pentagon matters, because she isn't afraid to shut the fuck up and LISTEN. ADM Owens (former Vice Chair JCS) isn't a sloppy guy, and he's probably one of the brightest minds of the Cold War and Post Cold War era. And he endorses Clinton. I gotta say, that's something. More than most would note, but it's a strong endorsement to anyone in senior leadership in uniform.

Obama has to do what he thinks is right. Time will tell. If he wins, he doesn't have to worry. OTOH, If he doesn't get the nom, he should think HARD about trying to get the VP slot. It might be hard to kiss and make up, but it's a powerhouse ticket--they're strong together with Clinton in the lead role--however, I don't think Clinton would want/accept/be a good candidate for, the VP slot.

If she gets the nom, and he is offered VP and doesn't take it, that would mean he thinks he'll be coming at it again in four years...

Hillary isn't going to win the national election, if only because she brings out the people who hate her for the Republicans.

17. Are you a big BABY? I dunno about YOU, but I am voting for the nominee.
Even if the nominee isn't MY preferred candidate.

Capisce?

I think this contest is GREAT.

That which does not kill us will make us stronger--unless we are a bunch of big BABIES, that is. I think the babies should be put into their cribs with their bottles and teddies, because they'll be no help to us in the General Election.

Whoever gets the nom will be battled scarred and hardened, tough, fast on their feet, and standing strong....and ready to beat the shit out of a seventy two year old man.

Only someone who fears an open fight, one where there's an opportunity to compare and contrast, doesn't want a good slugfest, where the AMERICAN PEOPLE get to voice their preference.

I'm not afraid of that. It's not a nightmare, it's an opportunity to forge the strongest possible competitor. Those idiots in the MSM keep selling gloom and doom because it makes good copy, but it is bullshit.

I have a preferred candidate, but I will vote for the other one if mine doesn't cut it.

And I won't be a big fucking BABY about it, either.

22. McCain would crush Clinton in the general election
The corporate media loves McCain and the extreme Republican base would show up in force to vote against Clinton.

Hllary has no shot at all against McCain. Not one poll has ever shown her beating him.

I hope Ohio enjoys President McCain.
