TX isn't over. Harris and Dallas Counties
still only partly in. Harris (Houston area) only 14% reporting. Could turn either way....

22. The election isn't about "delegates," it's about coming off as the "winner."
The convention is undoubtedly going to be brokered now.

10. At this point it doesn't matter
Hillary did not make the gains necessary to be viable mathamatically, unless she capaigns in states that "don't matter".

Obama won the nomnation tonight because Hillary did not make the gains necessary to be realistically mathematically viable.

12. Rolling over the counties on CNN

Rolling over the counties on CNN, it looks like the strong Hillary counties are pretty much tapped out, and those are the sparsely populated areas. The large municipal areas are have yet to come in. I expect to see a Obama victory when the counting is done.

Isn't it strange that the Obamanites are playing the same vote game as Democrats while the Republican states are tending for Hillary?

24. We shall see ...

It's hard to make the call without knowing the the weightings. I know the pros have spreadsheets and they are plugging in their weightings. I think that Obama winning the Texas delegate race without the delegate lead would be a somewhat Pyhrric victory.

13. No, Texas is over
Obama's going to win it...

14% of Houston votes are in, which give Obama a net gain of 45k votes. Extrapolating this, Obama still has about 250k more votes to gain from Houston. 28% of El Paso is in with a net gain for Hillary of 28k votes. Extrapolating this, she has about 70k more votes to gain from El Paso. Obama also has 50k more delegates to gain from Dallas and 25k more to gain from Austin. Hillary has about 50k more to gain from the south and about 25k more to gain from the NE. So, based on extrapolation, Obama will be up by about 150k votes when all is said and done...

The biggest precinct (the early voting precinct) has already reported.

15. There are still 250k
unreported votes in the Houston area... 1/4+ of the current unreported votes... and Obama will win those by a net 40k.

19. No. El Paso. San Antonio. Starr county is a 10% with 86% of the vote for Clinton.
Just pack it in for now. Regroup your energy for PA.

23. I will be SHOCKED if she hangs on in TX
Unfortunately for Obama, he will win the TX caucus, but the results will dribble in over time.

So Hillary would get the headline if she squeaks out the primary phase.

But I expect her to fall a little short.

you should jump back on the Hillary bus.

There's plenty of room for you. The whole thing is shifting. Don't miss the bus.

It's over. No Obama popular vote TX victory.

But the race is still over. All that's left are the shameful final acts of a dying dynasty. Ugly business.
