4. Yep.
And the caucuses in Texas do NOT favor the working people--they favor the young, unemployed and unencumbered.
That really sucks.

3. You're welcome!
Here in Cincinnati, with 100% of the vote counted, we went 61% for Obama, 38% for Clinton.

Happy to help! ;-)

8. Here in Stephanie's district, the one with the most delegates, we also went for Obama.
We so appreciate being appreciated!

9. I appreciate your appreciation for being appreciated!
:-)

All Politics Are Local. So are the delegates.

Cleveland's looking good! And my hometown of Dayton went Obama BIG. And the capital, Columbus.

Who the hell voted for Hillary in Ohio? I'm so fucking confused right now.

12. And in my home county (and the home county of Ted Strickland)
Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 01:11 AM by theHandpuppet
It was 81% for Hillary.

:D

Now if y'all could just get rid of Jean Schmidt. The four Appalachian counties of District Two have voted overwhelmingly against her in the last two elections. And my home county (Scioto) has voted against her TWICE by margins of 2 to 1. Y'all down there in Cincinnati need to give them some help. They can't carry the load by themselves. ;-)

14. Hey, we almost gave that shit to Paul Hackett.
Vic Wulsin is our nominee against Mean Jean again. Dr. Evil will BRING IT ON! I'll work my ass off for Vic in the fall. :-)

We voted against Hillary 61 to 38, and I think that bodes well for beating the status quo in Hamilton County and the OH-2 in November, I really really really do. I've already recruited mass Obama Kids to the cause. :-)

16. SoS Brunner needs to clean house in Warren and Clermont
Totally corrupted down there. No one has ever explained their shenanigans in 2004 to my satisfaction -- but at least Brunner will have her eye on them this time. No Blackwell to cover their ass again. It will be nice to see Wulsin give her victory speech!

10. Just An Aside But...
I was only a little kid back in 1984 when John Glenn ran in the primaries but why didn't he do better that year? It baffles me that a war vet and friggin' astronaut couldn't beat out Gary Hart and Walter Mondale! Surely, John Glenn's name recognition was pretty high, no?

And since no Republican has ever won the Presidency without Ohio, shouldn't he have been our first choice?

Things might be a little different these days.

Just a thought...

Back to the Obama/Hillary bickering.

17. Poorly managed candidate, and Glenn was never the most exciting speaker...
Plus he was always a bit of a maverick.
