My precinct here in Texas went 90% Hillary tonight
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 11:40 PM by Gman
I guess we did our job. We shut the Obama people down and out completely tonight. They didn't even get a delegate to the county convention. Over 10% of the eligible voters tonight turned out at our precinct convention for Hillary in addition to voting for her in the primary. Hillary won our precinct primary vote 75% - 25%

1. Well, my precinct went 8 to 5 for Obama.

I was uncommitted and remain so.

6. We're fairly heavy Hispanic too
but I was very surprised at the results.

And, if the truth be known, you're probably the smartest one of all of us being uncommitted and not getting caught up in this crap.

25. San Antonio always has been Clinton country
I remember the rally in front of the Alamo in 1996 just before the election. There were probably 15,000 people there. That was more than the 10,000+ Jimmy Carter had in 1976 at the same location. Clinton ended up winning Bexar County in 1996 even though he lost Texas.

28. I believe Kerry also won San Antonio last election
San Antonio is a true Democrat city, even though Texas became a cesspool of pukes. I saw Clinton here in Nevada in 1996 as I was already here. I'll never forget I was so damn excited. I even got to shake his hand.

1976 I was too young. I didn't start voting till 1988.

San Antonio Rocks!!!!

9. Excuse me, but what the fuck did that last sentence mean?
A "real" president? That's exactly the kind of talk McCain is counting on. State your case, fine, but don't play the "the other guy is a fraud" card like she does.

Hillary would make a great president as would Obama. How about turning down the rhetoric just a notch?

although I prefer Hillary along with a little agitating around here.

24. San Antonio looks to be going fairly well for Hillary
Hillary's problem right now in Texas is Harris County (Houston).

In any event, Texas is going to be pretty much a draw.
