20. Onama has done HIS SHARE of fearmongering. He has learned from Karl Rove too.
Don't make this sound like Hillary is evil. Obama has been doing the same negative attack ads too.

7. Just Like It Did In SC
When the Clintons were accused of race baiting.

The press did nothing for two months but fawn over Obama. Hillary had no choice but to go negative.

Funny how that works, huh?

8. That's been the lesson of the whole primary.
Obama's negative campaigning gave him an edge, Clinton's has turned the tables, for at least the moment.

Why, did you doubt that?

12. Hardly news...
Negative campaigning (in the US Presidential Race) goes back at least as far as Andrew Jackson and John Q. Adams when Adams was accused of "Having pimped for the Czar when he was Ambassador to Russia."

Besides... It's a good thing for Obama.

He now knows what happens to you if you play nice in elections.

You get beaten.

Regardless of what polls tell you, Americans are not turned off by negative campaigning.

16. He's my US Senator.
I've been surprised at how passive he's been.

He comes from Cook County -- That's a take no prisoners area.

I'm expecting more out of him in the future

We did it with Kerry... we will do it again.

To me they are both almost the same, but the polls are clear, McCain can beat her, he can not beat him!

19. It sure does
But Hillary's negative campaigning can bite her squarely in the keister if she becomes the Democratic candidate.

She has to consider if she can dish it out, she better ******* take it and not whine because she is a female candidate.

21. Yes I have to admit that this crap sadly still works.
And people wonder why the world hates us?

Not even the swiftboaters themselves could have done better to change the vote.

Thankfully tho Obama may have been taught the cold hard lesson tonight. You CANNOT be friendly with a machine. To ignore the Clinton past and try to run a campaign that is based on being nice will lead to the machine eating you.

It is time Obama. Do not let your niceness show anymore!!! it is time to expose clinton for what she is. The things she has done in the past. The machine that tears down the democratic party.

Now can we all just stop the bullshit of saying we wished we had a candidate and a campaign that was above it all?

Sometimes I wonder why I give a good goddamn about all this.

26. No, it doesn't. And no, it is not the lesson.
Did Hillary win the nomination tonight? No. Is Ohio done counting the votes? No.

Did Hillary have a 20% lead in Ohio three weeks ago, before she went negative? Yes. Did she squander that lead in the last three weeks by going negative? Yes.

Don't Buy The Hype, DU. C'mon, now.

Cincinnati For OBAMA!!!!!!!!!

The U.S. will never escape the old politics of personal destruction at this rate. Unfortunately the Republicans are far better at this because that's the only strategery they ever have to run on.

28. When you have nowhere else to go..........
Go Negative!

And throw in a little bit of fear for good measure & viola!

Ohio falls for it.

I, for one, am sick of Ohio and Florida telling me who my next nominee or President is going to be.

My apologies for the folks who live there.
