Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
After tonight, it is obvious that this thing is going to last all the way to June. By that time, either candidate will have given Mclame plenty of ammo to use against us. It is sickening beyond belief.

1. It's called democracy. This is how every primary should look.

9. Agreed, but using the word "snatching" could be viewed as sexist.

Don't worry.
Hillary will exit. She doesn't have the math, momentum, money or stupidity to stay.

And, the Old Man will only dig holes from now until the Summer, as Iraq's cycle of violence renews.

4. I'm afraid that my the time the nominee is decided
that if it's Hillary, I won't want to vote for her. Which is not how I feel now, but if this shit keeps up for a few more weeks, I easily could see myself feeling that way.

6. the American people have a lot to deal with in the next several months...
nothing the RW talking heads can say will bring back troops, make jobs, lower energy and food prices, and relieve ANY of the pressure most Americans feel...

THE F***ING TRUTH is what it is all about...or should be...

If McCain can use anything of the past 7, if not more, years to get his ass elected, then..

we are further down a path we have feared we were on...

WE ARE THE PEOPLE...that is our foundation, and our only hope

and enable and legitimize their policies.

Both candidates have done so- and by all indication will continue to do so- despite the sorry shape the country's in.

Neither one will stand up and fight for traditional Democratic values- and Obama, in particular, will Kumbaya his way to yet another loss- perhaps by a larger margin than we've seen since 1984.

Republicans play for keeps- they fight dirty and they play to win.

Which is why, even when the Dems manage to win (like 2006) they CONTINUE TO BE LOSERS OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
