Did Someone Just Buy All The Votes In Texas And Ohio

A Scoop contributor Catherine Austin Fitts brought this to our attention yesterday. It is a remarkably timed financial announcement and the full text of Catherine's blog is repeated here for the benefit of media truth seekers who - having first read Michael Collins tale of New York - would now like to delve a little deeper into the decay of American democracy:

Catherine Austin Fitts Blog - March 3, 2008 at 10:53 am •

This weekend, mega defense contractor United Technologies announced an offer for Diebold (1) (2) at a 66% premium to the current stock market price. Leading this effort is the board of directors of United Technologies. United Technologies board includes Jamie Gorelick, partner at WilmerHale, who was the former Deputy Attorney General in the Clinton Administration who played such a significant role in promoting prison privatization and was a member of the 911 Commission.

Gorelick is a large contributor to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. Her firm, WilmerHale, is a large backer of the Clinton campaign. Not surprisingly, Gorelick is mentioned as a likely Attorney General in a Hillary Clinton Administration. In its February 2008 Proxy, United Technologies described its lead investor as follows:

In a filing made with the SEC, State Street Bank & Trust Company, acting in various fiduciary capacities, reported that it held as of December 31, 2007 sole voting power with respect to 37,348,324 shares of UTC Common Stock, shared voting power with respect to 65,761,775 shares of UTC Common Stock, and shared dispositive power with respect to 103,110,099 shares of UTC Common Stock. State Street Bank & Trust Company serves as Trustee for UTC’s Employee Savings Plan and disclaims beneficial ownership of the reported shares.

Hence, it is hard to determine who exactly will control a significant percentage of the voting machines during the upcoming Presidential election. Question is, what does offering a $14 per share premium in a down stock market to the people who control Diebold have to do with Tuesday’s vote counting in Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont?

Is Hillary Clinton suddenly back in the race?

Whatever happens Tuesday, my bet is UT will be positioned to win lots of new sales and contracts from the Pentagon in the new Administration. What do you think? Is owning the voting machines a government contractor’s most creative marketing strategy? If it is, Diebold has now indicated they want more than $14 per share:

4. Close, but I believe UT wants to buy them for McCain. Here is my journal
about how the Pentagon is openly supporting McCain and forcing GE/NBC to do the same. UT gets $5billion a year from the Pentagon. The Pentagon will not reward them for hacking the vote for Hillary, but they can expect big things from the Pentagon for hacking the vote this fall for McCain.

Here is link to my journal with all the details

http://journals.democraticunderground.com/McCamy%20Taylor/155

I hear that Diebolds stock suddenly rebounded as everyone has realized that by buying them they can buy the next president. Since the telecommunications industry, especially the major cable players like Time-Warner and Disney (which must have unfettered cable access to prosper) do not want McCain to be president because of his past dirty dealings for a few cable industry players that could jeopardize the rest of the industry, I expect to see some of the telecoms make bids for Diebold, too, driving the stock even higher. So, I think that UT will get outbid, and the only way that they will get the stock is if the Bush criminal department of injustice cooks up phony charges and essentially says "You sell where we tell you or we prosecute" However, Diebold could turn around and blackmail Rove and Bush. Indeed, the present SEC and DOJ investigations are probably intended to keep Diebold's current management from revealing any of the truth about Georgia 2002 or the rest to Congress should they ask. So, I am not sure that even the DOJ can force Diebold to make a sale that is in the worst interest.

5. Talking tinfoil on this...
The timing of this is very curious. Diebold is important in both Ohio and Texas. This sends a very powerful message to someone and is meant to do so. Who? I don't think its Diebold management though maybe... one possibility is it could be a message to people who know where the bodies are buried. And the message says:

"We will protect you. We have $$$$$ coming out our ears and we are the sort of friends that people who know where bodies are buried best sit up and take notice of. We are the sort of people who can reward loyalty - and alternatiely - who are decisive and can deal with you if you feel inclined to spill the beans."

6. Diebold knows where the bodies are. I think its McCain desperate to win at all costs.
With ABC and CNN dead set against him, he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell. They will do the Democrats' job for them in order to protect their media empires from John "Cable a la carte" McCain. This is in my old journals, for those who do not keep up with media business.

So, someone figured out that controlling the way that people vote is just as good as getting people to vote for you. Worked for W.

If Diebold spilled the beans, it would hurt Rove and W. more than Diebold. People always cut corporations more slack than presidents. Look at the hand slaps that the Nazi war corporations got. Business as usual is the best defense. Everyone respects a company that is trying to make a buck. However, if Diebold could prove that W. did not win....

So, Diebold has the upper hand. It is why they do not have to hack the vote for McCain.

That is why I think the Pentagon is trying to get one of its military contractors to buy those voting machines. No military contractor should own voting machines. It is like the army controlling our vote.

And trust me on this--the Pentagon is backing McCain. Everything they do these days shows it.
