Clinton could get 60% of the vote in OH
This was my worst case scenario...Clinton appears to be making a killing in Ohio. It's not close at all and nearly 10% of the precincts are in. I'm still hoping the gap closes, but it doesn't look like a good night for Obama.

24. The networks called Missouri for Clinton early and had eggs on faces.
Claire McCaskill laughed it off, told Obama's camp that the same thing happened to her in 2006. Urged them to wait an hour or two. They did. Networks pulled their call back. Obama won Missouri.

:-)

5. Rural precincts are coming in first

Polls stayed open in Cuyahoga County until just a few minutes ago... things could still change by a lot!

7. Big cities aren't in yet.
Why do people always get freaked out when the numbers start coming in? Cuyahoga cty (cleveland) just ended voting 30min ago. They're also paper ballots at a central location. Couple that with other major cities (Ohio has several of them) - it's going to be a LONG night.

:)

13. Voters at Solon church cast ballots by cell phone light
About 20 voters at Solons Advent Lutheran Church, 5525 Harper Road at Cannon Road, were left in the dark when power went out about 7 p.m., said the pastor, Rev. Phil Carl.

Folks voted by the glow of their cell phones and beneath the exit signs, he said. And workers carted candles including two candelabras from the sanctuary to light the fellowship hall, where voting booths were set up.

It was actually kind of a romantic place for a while, voting by candlelight, Carl said.
Both pollworkers and voters, he said, took the power outage in stride. The polls closed as scheduled at 7:30 p.m., and lights returned about 8:05 p.m.

14. Not to crap on anyone's parade, but, I'm in Ohio....
... and no major city has yet to report.

Still out there:

Cincinnati
Dayton
Cleveland (polls still closing)
Columbus (polls still closing)
Toledo
Akron
Canton
Youngstown
Athens

It's gonna be a long night. It's gonna be close. Hillary might win Ohio. But Obama erased her 20+ point lead, and took her delegates, probably anyway you shake it down.

Much more so than Georgia, believe it or not.

27. STRANGE delegate numbers at DCW
http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/

State: Ohio
Delegates Left: 81
% Vote In: 35%
% Clinton: 57%
% Obama: 41%
Delegates Clinton: 28
Delegates Obama: 32

Does Obama really have more delegates in spite of lower percentage or is this a mistake? Anyone seeing any different delegate totals for OH anywhere else?
