14. Reminds me of the map the right-wingers pushed in 2000...
...showing how much land Bush had won. :eyes:

Incidentally, Northeastern Ohio is the most solidly Democratic part of the state.

18. For the purposes of this poll
The regions are mutually exclusive. So Northeastern Ohio correlates to Northeastern Ohio minus Cleveland. Otherwise the proportions would add to more than 100%.

Cuyahoga County (15%)
Northeastern Ohio (35%)
Central Ohio (21%)
Northwestern Ohio (11%)
Southwestern Ohio (18%)

9. Cleveland and suburbs.
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 07:55 PM by OnionPatch
I'm not positive, but I think it's the most populated area in Ohio.

Edited to add: Oops, I see they already account for Cleveland, but it's probably all the other urban areas around Cleveland that affect the numbers.

5. I'm not familiar with Ohio geography.
Does Cuyahoga CO. have high population, comparable to those other entire regions?

21. To play with an old Carvile line, "It's the delegates, stupid."
An overall Clinton win by a handful of points in Ohio is meaningless. It's symbolic and the spin might last 48 hours, but hell, the way it's looking, Obama will net more delegates out of VERMONT than Clinton hopes to out of Ohio.
