Latest Exit Poll: Obama leads everywhere! Hillary 0 for 4.
Vermont: Obama 67% Clinton 33% (It's over, Obama has won).

Ohio: Obama 51% Clinton 49% (Ohio is holding for Obama)

Texas: Obama 50% Clinton 49% (Despite the closeness, Obama will win substantially more delegates).

Rhode Island: Obama 49% Clinton 49% (How the fuck did this happen?)

11. Wait a minute. Didn't you post this about an hour ago?
"AP Exit Poll: Clinton wins today's voting in Texas"

"Unless Obama won the early vote by a massive number, Clinton's going to have a comfortable win in TX"

Of course they rule when they do. This is like the third grade.

14. nah. Huff Po says they're the first wave.
It'd be VERY nice, but it's not likely

First Exit Polls:

VT Obama - 67, Clinton - 33
OH Obama - 51, Clinton - 49
TX Obama - 50, Clinton - 49
RI Obama - 49, Clinton - 49

we'll see though.. Vermont polls should be closing soon, let's see how quickly they call the winner in that one (my guess is it'll be pretty quick). Ohio polls close a half hour later..I'm on pins and needles here!

Obama wins Vermont and they are tied in the other 3 states. 2 points is statistically insignificant, especially in an exit poll.

15. Ah, but in Texas, the caucus is weighted toward the urban areas-Obamaland!
Because of the formula determined by the turnout in the last presidential/gubernatorial elections, in which there was a high urban/black turnout but a very low turnout in the more rural and Hispanic areas.

OH and RI by a large margin.

25. Way too early, but it does indicate that she's not likely to get the blowouts she needs.
Even if you swap those close numbers she's still likely to get a lot of pressure to drop from the party.

29. now THAT'S the point
we've heard for 2 weeks how she needs obvious victories in Ohio & the Homeland (haha, that's for Shrub) to remain viable. Who cares if she wins there by a point or two, she needed big wins (55%+) to stay in this race -

THAT is what makes her last jabs so troubling. Knowing she was even, at best, with Obama, why say such troubling comments like the one that Cafferty and others have ripped her for (saying McCain will bring great experience to the White House and saying all Obama will bring is a speech!)????

She doesn't realize this could fracture the party???

OH WAIT, perhaps that's what she wants. Hey, how could any of us really know. I felt in '04 they didn't help John Kerry enough, and he was neck and neck with Der Fuhrer, and coulda used Hillary reaching out BIG to the women of America, and it felt like they wanted to see him lose so she could run in '08.

36. Ohio, Texas, R.I., all TIED, according to those polls.
Anything within the margin of error is a tie -- a different sample of voters could just as easily have produced the opposite result.

38. Closeness counts for Obama...
What was that - she needs to win by 62-65% in TX and OH margin to be viable to continue?

42. Those appear to be samples of EARLY exit poll results, not necessarily
representative of most of the voters. If so, they could be explained entirely by which area(s), e.g., Cleveland vs. some small towns, for which the people doing the polling had exit poll results.

Also, the CNN exit poll results can't have been altered to match final vote totals, because CNN doesn't know what those totals are yet.
